The rooms are named after the rich history of Patterson Park, just three blocks away from the Blue Door. Our room rates vary between $145 to $180 per night. They include breakfast, our many amenities, and access to available on-property and unrestricted street parking. To check availability, calculate the rate, and include additional options to your stay, check out our availability link. Corporate, Medical Center Visitor, Weekly, and Entire House rates are also available. Our luxury guest rooms are each appointed with a King size bed, sitting area, desk surface, and private bath with both a soaking tub and separate shower including specialty soaps and lotions. They also feature lots of windows, a ceiling fan, and central air-conditioning. To help you relax, listen to the sounds of a gentle in-room fountain. Contemplate the orchid blooming in your room. Enjoy the sights and sounds of Baltimore from the outdoor decks attached to two of our rooms.
Or, plug your attention into our home's music and satellite television services, your portable iPod, iPhone, or MP3 player docked in your in-room clock radio. You can link to the Internet using wireless access or by cable. If you are traveling as a family or as a group we have some options for you. Our Patterson and Hampstead rooms adjoin; connecting with a private access stairway. The Washburn also features an ottoman that can fold out to a twin sleeper for a third person.
We have three common rooms in addition to our guest rooms. Relax in our parlor, start up some conversation, or enjoy one of our reading corners. Enjoy our meal offerings in the formal dining room or just relax over a nice cup of tea, an espresso or latte. Visit our second floor Library to select a book, magazine, game, or movie from our shelves. Make use of our business center equipment and supplies, or select a cold beverage from our guest fridge.
Please keep in mind that the character of our home features a grand staircase to the upper two floors of the building and our guest rooms. Those not able to take many stairs may find getting around a little difficult. The owners of the Blue Door on Baltimore also have Bengal cat that is only allowed to visit in our common areas, with your permission of course.
