    Relax By The Cozy Fire

Built circa 1770, The Annapolis Inn is a classic example of Georgian and Greek Revival architecture. Alternating dark walnut and pine planked floors, rare in Annapolis, grace our spacious entrance foyer. The living room and dining room, stately salons of aristocratic status, are still crowned with their original ornate gilded rosette moldings. The large chandeliers of imported Austrian crystal complement their elegance. Below them the marble fireplaces warm your spirits; the tapestries, paintings, sculptures and antique furnishings enthrall you and the Oriental rugs soften your mood.

Combined, these salons create a relaxing ambiance of luxury and comfort, creating the perfect setting for reading, taking afternoon tea or coffee or conversing with friends. In the morning, the warmth of the fireplaces reaches out to you as you linger over a freshly prepared breakfast in the dining room. Your breakfast is enhanced by the plush comfort and allure of our antique furnishings, masterpieces of European artisans, which surround and envelop you in a lifestyle once available to only a privileged few.Your room has also been appointed to anticipate your comfort, lifestyle and privacy, creating an atmosphere of pampering elegance and spaciousness.
