Introduction 3 Aug 2008, 6:09 am

Flash forward to 2012!  Your room is ready.

2011 was a wonderful season in terms of occupancy and the interesting nature of our guests. It was the year of international travel. We enjoyed couples from Switzerland, Italy, Germany, England, Ireland, and Australia. And of course, there is that terrific group we'll call "The Friends of Morning Glory Inn" who continue to return to our peaceful little spot for their getaways. We love you all and are excited about another season to come.

Food Blog
One of our favorite inn keeping tasks is to provide our guests with dining ideas. So to help you find the meal of your choice, whether it be a casual lobster feast or a fancy meal, we have provided some recommendations in the form of a Food Blog. We've listed some favorites...enjoy!

Introduction

In building this blog, one of our missions is to offer additional garden photography beyond what is on the web site. We attempt to to tell a photographic story about the Morning Glory Inn.

If you are using a mobile version of this blog, click below for the web version to see our
garden photography.

We purchased this property in 2004 partly because of it's gardens and opportunities to expand them. We had also fallen in love with it's structure, history and location. At the time, we were successfully operating another B&B in York Harbor. But by winter of 2005, we had sold the original B&B and were free to spend all of 2006 renovating not just the gardens but the entire property.

Our first season as the Morning Glory Inn was 2007 - a resounding success. We would like to thank our web developer Carolyn Cavanaugh of InnVisions for working so closely and effectively with us to represent our "vision" on the web. Visit  InnVisions  to see some the finest photography on the internet!

More recently, our site has been maintained by Rachel Wulsin of Hillside Designs. Her websites are very special and she is committed to extreme customer service. Thanks Rachy for keeping us up and running!
