Upon your arrival at our Southwest Harbor, Maine bed and breakfast, you’ll be welcomed into our casual French Country style dining room, delightfully enhanced with whimsical décor, hardwood floors and plenty of warm afternoon sunshine.

Feel free to relax on our cedar front porch while indulging your senses- feeling the ocean breezes, gazing at our colorful flower gardens and rosebushes, enjoying the scent of the salt air, listening to the call of the gulls over the harbor, sipping a glass of wine and savoring homemade treats.

Each afternoon, during our summer season, guests may enjoy our “Afternoon Interlude” during the hours of 4pm – 6pm. Offerings vary each day but may include Artisanal Cheeses & Specialty Crackers, Canapes, Sweet or Savory Fondue, Cold Lemonade, Iced Tea or homemade Sangria.

It just so happens that we LOVE chocolate and believe that cookies should be eaten in mass quatities! You will always find a big jar of Chocolate Chip Cookies along with our homemade Gourmet Biscottis just waiting for when you need a snack! Many times, we end the day with a homemade evening dessert such as Bailey's Irish Cream Cheesecake, Chocolate Mousse, Lemon Raspberry Coconut Cake or our specialty Whoopie Pies.

Rise & shine to an artfully presented, multi -course homemade, Gourmet breakfast. We delight in creating a splendid breakfast that is as pleasing to your eyes as it is to your palate - after all, we eat with our eyes first!

We alternate sweet and savory entrees each morning. Our multi course breakfasts also consist of homemade scratch baked pastries, colorful & unique fruit dishes, flavored yogurt and our own homemade ‘Vanilla Scented Cranberry Crunch Granola’. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in our dining room or al fresco on our front porch, decorated with potted plants, vibrantly colored containers of edible flowers, custom decorator pillows and tablecloths, handstitched by your innkeeper.

We make every attempt to use the freshest and most locally available fruits, vegetables, Artisanal cheeses & breads, wines, herbs & edible flowers. Most of the fresh herbs and edible flowers we use are grown right here at the inn, in our potted organic herb garden!

One of the things we have the most fun with is making our own homemade Candies, Biscotti, Fudge & Truffles for our guests - After all, our motto is “Indulge”!

Each of our 5, uniquely decorated, spacious guestrooms offer quite possibly some of the best Harbor Water views on Mount Desert Island.

Our comfortable Queen beds are dressed with high thread count linens, matelasse coverlets, lovely quilts or down comforters and, of course, plenty of extra pillows!

Our Suite-style guestrooms, the “Madison Marie” and the “Sarah Ashley” include complimentary soft drinks, juices and snack baskets. These rooms also offer small refrigerators and gas fireplaces.

Clark Point Inn is located in a residential neighborhood just a10 minute walk to Main Street shops & restaurants. We are located across the street from the upper town dock, the Cranberry Cove Ferry dock & the FREE L.L. Bean Island Explorer Bus stop.

Our Inn provides FREE off street guest parking & convenient access to Southwest Harbor, Acadia National Park and all that Mount Desert Island has to offer. We are moments from Acadia national park and minutes from Bar Harbor, Maine.
