Atlantic Birches Inn is Old Orchard Beaches longest operating Bed and Breakfast. The Inn is an elegant yet casual Romantic, Historic, Victorian Bed and Breakfast in Old Orchard Beach Maine. The Inn is perfect for Small Weddings, Bridal Showers, Honeymoons, Vow Renewals, Anniversaries, Elopements, Engagements, Marriage Proposals, Baby Mooners, Family Reunions, Ladies Weekends, Vacations, Family Holiday Gatherings, and Weekend Getaways at the Beach. Comprised of two buildings, the Victorian Main House built in 1903 by John Calvin Stevens during the beaches heyday, and the 1920’s bungalow called The Cottage. Each building has 5 beautifully appointed guest rooms available for your enjoyment.

All rooms are sunny, unique and comfortably decorated with antiques. Choose from a cozy, romantic room for two to a two-bedroom suite for a family of five. Newly renovated one-bedroom kitchenette Suites are also available. All rooms have private bathes, are non-smoking and air-conditioned.

The Inn is located on a quiet tree lined corner, quests can easily walk a minute to shops and restaurants and 2 minutes to the Pier, amusement area and 7 miles of beautiful white sandy beach. The Inn is an ideal stopping point on your East Coast vacation or a convenient weekend getaway at the beach.

Guests wake each morning to the scent of fresh home made muffins and fresh brewed gourmet coffee, part of the delicious continental breakfast awaiting you .in our breakfast areas. Enjoy eating breakfast in our dining rooms, or on our spacious wrap- around front porches that are shaded by 100-year-old White Birch Trees while watching the world go by, or enjoy our well-manicured lawn and perennial gardens that surround our Gazebo.

After a busy day of activities one can also read a book in one of our elegant, comfortable living rooms or relax on our spacious front porch on Rocking or Adirondack chairs or just lounge around or cool off in our heated in-ground pool. On our well-maintained lawn one can play badminton, bocce, croquet or basketball.

Directions From Portland:
Follow Rt. 1 south to intersection of 1 and 98. Take left onto Rt.98. Go 2.6 miles, Inn is on the right. Directions From Rt. 9: Turn inland at town square (amusements) onto Rt. 5. Go up the hill, turn right at the stop sign onto Rt. 98. Inn is 3rd building on the left.

Directions From the South: Take I-95 Maine Turnpike to Exit36(Saco-Old Orchard Beach) .On I-195, get off at exit #2B, for Rt. 1 North. Go 2.6 miles north on Rt. 1 to 3rd traffic light intersection of 1 & Rt. 98. Turn right onto 98. Go 2.6 miles, Inn is on the right.

We host small Weddings, Vow Renewals, Elopements and Engagement and Anniversary Parties. We also have a Wedding Officient onsite.

We welcome families with well behaved children of all ages. Children under 5 are no charge; Children aged 5 - 9 are $10 per night;
Children 10 and older are $15 per night.
