Guest Rooms/Rates
Our rooms are planned with your comfort in mind and are decorated with period antiques. Some are appointed with working fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, sitting areas, extra sleeping space, etc. Room rates are lower from November 1st through April 15th and range from $100 to $150 per night, double occupancy. Additional guest is $20 per night. Remember, a full and delicious country breakfast is included in your stay. We will be happy to negotiate a discount for extended stays or if your group reserves all rooms simultaneously. All guestrooms are air conditioned or heated. Garden & Cottage rooms may be reserved together as a suite. Garden Room sleeps two. Cottage room sleeps two. 
Royal SuiteThe Royal Suite The largest of our guestrooms, this luxuriously appointed romantic haven has a cozy sitting area with fireplace, kitchenette for light snack preparation, cozy eating area for two, very comfortable King Size bed and private bath with whirlpool tub. Absolutely spectacular outdoor views.

The Captain's Room Designed in honor of seafaring ancestors of Nova Scotia, Louisiana, Alaska, and Prince Edward Island, our Captain's room (enhanced by Lorette's hand-painted murals) will delight the ocean lover. Lighthouse lovers and shell collectors take note! This might be the guest room for you. A nautical theme bathroom as well!

The Captain's RoomThe Monet Room Inspired by the varying perspective and the play of light of 19th century Impressionist artist, Claude Monet, this room features the soft relaxing tones of Monet's calming masterpieces in the choice of bed linens and room decor. A very comfortable queen size bed and rocking chair sitting area add to the sense of tranquility and relaxation.

The Homespun Bedroom This is a very cozy country bedroom with quilt, lace curtains, and oak turn of the century (1900's) furnishings. The King sized bed is adorned with a multicolored patchwork quilt and lace dust ruffle; hand sewn crafts and curtains enhance the country feeling. Guests can sit in the rocking chair while wondering on the days of old, or peer out the generous windows into our quiet Maine woods. This room is allergy/animal free.

The Sunshine Room This large golden room has both a decorated and real sense of basking in the warmth of sunshine. Guests can linger in the King Size bed to enjoy the fire or laze on a comfortable settee to soak in the sunshine! A three tiered shower in the private bath is delightfully relaxing. Note: This room is allergy/animal free and there is added bed space.

The Garden Bedroom This Sunny room captures a summer garden view with its faux picket fence "flower garden" wall. Walls are painted in an azure blue - softly clouded sky. Guests say they will feel as though they are slumbering in an outdoor garden on a sunny day! This room has its own bath. There is also another fully accessible handicapped bathroom down the hall.

Sarah's Cottage Room This guestroom's soft pink, peach, yellow and colorful mural lulls you to a summer cottage island at sunrise. This is Innkeeper, Lorette's artistic portrayal of New England vacation memories. The room is named after our teen friend, Sarah, whom we steal away from her parents and grandmother on occasion to just enjoy a "downright nice kid!" Handmade quilts, comfy beds, and sense of beauty and relaxation await you here. Both the garden and cottage rooms together make up a "family suite." There is a bathroom shared with the garden room, and yet ANOTHER fully handicapped accessible bath down the hall.

Aunt Theresa's Haven Inspired by the creations of Lorette's favorite Aunt, this lovely room is adorned with Lorette's and her Aunt Theresa's creations. You can sit by the fire and admire handmade quilts, woven shawls, crocheted designs, cut paper lace art, tatted and embroidered linens, crewel pillow covers, floral arrangements, hooked rugs, hand painted furnishings, and original paintings. Note: This room is allergy/animal free and there is added bed space needed.

Bed & Breakfast Policy - Because our home is an older and historic one, we cannot allow indoor smoking.
- By special arrangements, Guest's horses may board in the barn at nightly rate.
- A 50% deposit, or the cost of one night's stay, whichever is greater, will hold your reservation with the balance due upon arrival.
- Two night minimum on selected weekends and holidays.
- If a written cancellation is made prior to 14 days of the arrival date, there will be a full refund, less a $20 fee.
- If cancellation is made within 14 days of arrival, but more than 48 hours, the guest is responsible for the deposit.
- Within 48 hours, the guest is responsible for the full amount unless the room can be re-rented.
- We are a non-smoking B&B.
- Check-in: 3 p.m. Check out: 11 a.m. Please let us know if you need special accommodation - food, timing or accessibility.
- Other than certified assistive dogs for the blind, deaf, or disabled, we cannot welcome pets on the premises. We do not allow pets. We will refer you to local kennel if you wish.
