We are located at the beginning of Coastal Scenic Route 103, one mile to the heart of the Historic Resort of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. One hour north of Boston, Massachusetts, and one hour south of Portland, Maine. 211 miles (4.5 hours) to Bar Harbor, 135 miles (2.5 hours) to Camden, Maine.

Take a short Scenic Ocean Drive North to Kittery Point or South to New Castle, NH on Goat Island, Peirce Island or Rye Beach; Walk, sun, swim or picnic on the ocean or river, bike or hike the enchanting trails along the creeks, rivers or ocean.

Things to Do

Kittery, Maine's first town, offers many exciting activities to fill the hours during your stay. There are restaurants to suit every palate and mood, dancing, dinner/dance cruises, whale watching, concerts in the park, theaters, shops, the Prescott Park Gardens, Water Country, and golfing. You may also wish to explore Portsmouth Harbour Trail, a self-guided walking tour of charming historic homes, churches and buildings.

Remember to visit the famous lighthouses of the New Hampshire and Southern Maine coast. An array of other activities such as bird watching, nature walks, hiking, sailing, hot air balloon rides, tour of breweries, bicycling and more await you, as well.
