  • Gourmet Breakfast at the Maine Stay Inn

“Breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper” is our motto. We promise to serve the freshest and most interesting breakfasts possible and we look forward to surprising you daily with a different entrée, even if you’re here for an extended stay. Don’t be surprised if we serve summer fruit bruschetta with candied walnuts one day followed by savory french toast with poached eggs and baby field greens the next. We aim to present beautiful and delicious breakfasts, generally beginning with a fresh fruit starter and choice of juices, coffee and gourmet teas, and entrée accompanied by a side dish or two. Allergies and dietary concerns need to be discussed in advance with the innkeepers (at time of reservation or at least seven days prior to arrival), but we will always try our best to satisfy your needs. A quick email to the office in advance of your arrival is the best way of assuring your special needs can be met. Because most don’t have the time for gourmet breakfasts at home, we aim to produce very special breakfasts that make you king for a day (or more!). If you have a limited palate, cereals and homemade granola are always available, but let us know and we will try to accommodate you. At the Maine Stay Inn, we are experienced in nut-free and gluten-free cooking.
