Quiet Moments Suite
This suite is located on the first floor of the carriage house, it has one bedroom separate from the sitting area. In the spring, view rows and rows of heritage lilacs and beautiful perennial gardens from the comfort of your bed. The quiet sitting room done in ebony and tans has a flat screen TV, plenty of seating and contemporary furniture. This is a great place to visit with traveling friends or catch up on a favorite book. The bedroom features a king size bed done in navy and cream colors. The completely new private bathroom features a custom shower and rainmaker shower head. Tranquility Suite
This very comfy yet chic new suite is located on the second floor of the carriage house. The Tranquility Suite offers plenty of space, featuring its own sitting room with contemporary decor and beautiful modern furniture. On those cold days, warm up by the wall mounted gas fireplace and catch up on your favorite book in the sitting area. This suite offers lots of privacy with plenty of seating, a flat screen TV, private bath and queen size bed. Carriage House Suite
The Carriage House Suite is the most unique room in the Inn. It occupies the whole third floor of the Carriage House (450 square feet). You will find interesting architectural details such as, exposed original barn beams and angled ceiling lines. Step out on your private balcony to take in the fresh morning air while enjoying a hot cup of coffee. Enjoy the privacy of an additional outside entrance, come and go as you please. This Carriage House Suite has a very comfy queen size bed and a queen sized sleeper sofa to accommodate additional guests. Other amenities include a flat screen TV, cozy gas fireplace for those colder months, refrigerator, microwave, and private bath. Many guests enjoy an extended stay in this very special suite. Sunrise
This room is located on the second floor of the main house and occupies the five windows “turret.” Originally the master bedroom of the English family in the 1860's, it is one of the most popular rooms. Finished in warm tans and quiet blues, it is a wonderful place to have a morning coffee and read the paper. Additionally, the Sunrise room has interesting architectural details including an arched doorway, a serpentine wall, and six double hung windows. Private Bungalow
A very special place that sits at the back of the property, surrounded by shady woods and the sunny meadow, you can insure that this Bungalow is very private. The Bungalow has two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with two twin beds. The full kitchen allows flexible dining options, especially for families with children. One of the most popular features is the fully screened in porch with wicker furniture. This is the perfect place to enjoy a lazy afternoon or evening in the summer and fall months. The bungalow also has a flat screen TV, fireplace and a private bath. With Advanced notice the Bungalow can accommodate a small pet. Tack Room Suite
The Tack Room, located at the rear of the first floor of the carriage house has a very interesting history. It once served the purpose of being the storeroom for saddles and harnesses from the farm’s carriages and horses years ago. Of-course, over the years it has undergone several modifications, the latest remodel brings it up to date with modern amenities and cozy fine linens. This room defines the meaning of rest and relaxation, three walls of windows reveal lush trees surrounding the room, giving a since of privacy while welcoming natural light to pour in. On those colder days, warm up by the gas fireplace. At the end of the day, soak in your very own whirlpool tub in the private bathroom. Get a wonderful nights rest on the king bed. The room also featured a flat screen TV and adjacent sitting area. Done in calm grays and bright natural greens, this is a truly unique and relaxing space. Policies
This Historic newly renovated bed and breakfast offers comfortable and relaxing accommodations in a modern contemporary setting. The Inn at English Meadows is perfect for vacationing to Kennebunk/ Kennebunkport, romantic getaways and celebrations. All guestrooms feature a Vera Wang hyper allergenic mattress, down duvets and pillows, flat screen TV, iPod docking station, wine glasses with opener, and hair dyer. Luxurious FRETTE fine linens, warm bath robes, cozy slippers, and fluffy towels await you. Some rooms feature the warmth of a gas fireplace or whirlpool tub. For your convenience, a guest refrigerator is located on the second floor of the Carriage House. In addition, during the summer monts, all guestrooms come equipped with air-conditioners.
- Reservation Payment: We require a 50% deposit of the total charge to secure accommodations. For a one night stay the entire balance is due at the time of booking and most be guaranteed with a valid check or credit card.
- Forms of payment: American Express, Visa, Master Card, Discover Card, Cash, Check, Travelers Checks.
- Check In Between 3pm-7pm.
- Check Out Policy 11am or before.
- Additional Guests: All rated are double occupancy. We can accommodate additional guest in some rooms for a fee of $50 per night per person
- Minimum Stay Requirements: Reservations require a three night minimum for major Holidays, two nights minimum is required most other weekends. If availability allows a one night stay can be arranged, please call
- Cancellations: The Inn at English Meadows is a small boutique hotel. Because of that we are significantly affected by cancellations and adhere to a strict cancellation policy. On cancellations made 2 weeks prior to your arrival date your deposit will be refunded less a $30 processing fee. Cancellations made less than 2 weeks of your arrival date you will be responsible for the full reservation unless we are able to rebook the room. We require 30 days notice for Major Holidays and Christmas Prelude. We suggest you purchase trip insurance, cancellations maybe out of your control.
- No Smoking Policy: We offer a non-smoking environment, guest who are found to disregard our policy will be charged a $150 housekeeping fee for cleaning the room
- Dog Policy: Pets can be accommodated for an additional fee of $30. Only the Bungalow can accommodate a small sized pet. Pets cannot be left in the Inn unattended. Please respect your fellow guests to quiet enjoyment and keep your pet quiet. Please pickup after your pet, plastic bags will be made available if needed. Inspect your room with the Innkeeper upon checking in and out. Any damage caused during your pets visit will be charged to your credit card. Dogs must be kept on a leash outside the property; there is a Kennebunkport leash law.
- Cell phones: We ask that you reframe from using cell phones in the breakfast room and common areas.
