    The Inn at Isle au Haut - Isle au Haut, MaineLocated on Isle au Haut, Maine, our inn offers four guest bedrooms. They are light and cheerful, simply furnished with iron beds, antique oak and colorful quilts. The Captain's Quarters on the first floor has views of the ocean. The Bo'sun's Quarters, the Fo'c'sle and First Mate's Quarters are on the second floor. These rooms share a full bath, and bathrobes are provided. In the spirit of simplicity in our island Inn there is no television, cable or internet.

    Dinner features single entrée meals focusing on fresh native seafood including Isle au Haut lobsters, as well as prime cuts of beef, pork, lamb and fresh poultry. Dinner may include ripe brie with blackberry-orange glaze and toasted pecans; homemade lobster ravioli with tarragon cream sauce, broiled sea scallops with lemon butter, fresh asparagus, herbed tomatoes, and peach gingerbread upside-down cake with homemade cinnamon ice cream.

    A full breakfast is served, and may include blueberry streusel muffins with orange butter and crab & spinach frittata from Diana’s kitchen. Breads and desserts are homemade, baked daily.

    A delicious picnic lunch is packed for a day of biking or exploring – think fresh mozzarella sandwiches with tomato and basil pesto on homemade bread, chewy chocolate cookies, blueberry lemonade and fresh fruit.

    Rates & Policies

    • The inn is open June 5 thru September 30, 2011.

    • Rates are per night per couple.
    • All meals included in price.
    • 7% state sales and lodging tax will be added.
    • Sorry, we cannot accommodate children or pets.
    • Reservations must be made in advance. A $100 deposit is required, payable by check or money order. Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of deposit.
    • Payment of balance must be made by check or money order as well. Sorry, no credit cards are accepted.
    • Refunds for cancellations with 3 weeks notice will be given less a $15 service charge. Refunds for cancellations with less than 3 weeks notice will be given less a $15 service charge when room is rebooked.

    • There is a 2 night minimum stay. Occasionally there are "holes" in the reservations calendar that that will permit a one-night stay on weekdays only.
    • Please arrive only on the boat listed for you. We are a small inn, and in order to let us prepare your room properly, please arrive only on the boat listed on your confirmation card.
    • There are no arrivals or departures on Sunday. Guests who stay Saturday must stay Sunday.
    • What to wear. Plan to bring sturdy shoes for negotiating rugged terrain, sweatshirts or jackets for cool island evenings, and rainwear.
    • Inn bicycles are available for guest use.
    • There is no television, cable, internet, or telephone in our rooms. There is a telephone available for emergency use only.
    • Smoke-free Inn. There is no smoking at the Inn.
