Whatare you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?

According to Trip Advisor, I am best known for my breakfasts, cleanliness, and Maya, the ambassador dog. I love being a hostess.

If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?

There is a great center to a wheel spoke. Within an hour of a multitude of different tourist attractions from coastal, mountains, lakes, rivers, and most of those attractions are within 20 minutes. I am close enough and out of the way of North Conway traffic. Walking distance to Fryeburg Academy and fairgrounds.

What’s the best kept secret about the area?

My house is off the beaten path yet close enough to everything to still be in the middle of it all. Saco River Beach is 1/2 mile from me.

If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?

    1. Go to the coast one day, but remember if you plan on outlet shopping in Freeport or Kittery (most do), North Conway has the same stores and is tax free. Coast for boating, light houses, cruises, beaches.

    2. Drive over to Mount Washington and take the cog rail to the top. Dilly dally on the way home in North Conway. If kids are included, Santa's village is right there, train museum, putt putt, Story Land.

    3. Castle in the Clouds in Moultonboro, NH. Spend day at Lake Winnepsauke. Go antiquing in Meredith (all one hour or less away).

Fryeburg Academy has the Laura Hill Performing Art Center that hosts a multitude of varying artists and shows. Saco River Beach. Froagies ice cream (to die for). Fryeburg Fairgrounds, snowmobile rentals and trails.

Oxford House Inn is 2/10th of a mile from my inn and I have never heard a bad word about the service, food, staff, and scenery.

How many rooms does your inn have?

Seven: 5 queen sized beds, 2 king size beds. All private bathrooms.

    Do you accept pets?

Yes I do. I prefer dogs as guests over cats but I allow cats as well if necessary (cat is unhealthy and needs special mommy care).
