A warm welcome awaits you at Timbercliffe Cottage Bed & Breakfast Inn. Nestled on a hillside in the shadow of Mt. Battie with a view of Penobscot Bay, this historic home wraps its arms around you and invites you to sit back and relax. Our wide wraparound porch is the perfect place to begin your day with a delicious breakfast and cup of steaming coffee or to relax in the afternoon with a refreshing drink and a good book. On a summer day guests may catch a glimpse of a tall mast schooner or grand yacht sailing out of Camden Harbor. On cool days, cozy up in a comfortable wingback chair next to the fireplace in either the parlor or the library and enjoy a complimentary beverage and home-baked delicacy.

Formerly known as Edgecombe-Coles House, the newly renovated Timbercliffe Cottage Bed and Breakfast has six guest rooms with private baths that boast the best of the old and new. Some rooms have fireplaces. All rooms have comfortable accommodations with historic décor. Staying at Timbercliffe Cottage is like being a special guest in a friend's exclusive ocean view home. Whether you come to escape the pressures of your daily lives or to just appreciate the grandeur of the beautiful Maine coastline and the quaint village of Camden, you will be welcomed by innkeepers, Karen and Dave Kallstrand.

Location

Timbercliffe Cottage is nestled on a hillside, in a quiet location just off of Route 1 (High Street address) at Timbercliffe Drive, between Camden, Maine and Camden Hills State Park; approximately one-half mile respectively from either locations.

Breakfast

Breakfast will be served between 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Start your day with a cup of our custom-blended coffee, latte, cappuccino or tea, your choice of fresh juice. Next a hot entrée appears in front of you - perhaps blueberry gingerbread waffles served with real Maine maple syrup, a baked cinnamon apple and sausage, or on the savory side, an individual frittata filled with farm fresh eggs and organic ingredients, fruit cup, accompanied by freshly baked cinnamon roll. Special dietary options are available with 24 hour advance notice. For those on the go, we also offer coffee, tea, juice, breakfast bread, yogurt, fruit and granola are provided from 7 until 9 a.m.
