The Hawthorn Inn Bed and Breakfast

The Inn has 10 spacious and beautifully appointed guest suites and rooms; six rooms are in the Main House and four in the Carriage House. All rooms have private baths; four in the Carriage House have two-person Jacuzzi tubs, and two in the Main House have claw-foot Victorian soaking tubs.

Brougham
On the second floor of the Carriage House, the Brougham is a favorite for its private deck, gas-log fireplace, super-size two-person Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, four-poster queen bed. Flat-screen TV, DVD. Air-conditioned. Garden views and seasonal harbor views. Rates: $185 to $260

Norfolk
The Norfolk is a spacious, luxurious room on the second floor of the Carriage House with sumptuous king bed, single day bed, private deck, super-size two-person Jacuzzi, flat-screen TV, DVD. Air-conditioned. Garden views and seasonal harbor views. Sleeps up to four persons. Rates $195 to $285.

Cabriolet
On the first floor, the Cabriolet has a private patio that is part of the rock garden, a two-person Jacuzzi, separate shower, flat-screen TV, DVD. Air-conditioned. Garden views and seasonal harbor views. Rates: $175 to $250

Watney
A favorite of bride and grooms and anniversary and birthday celebrants, the Watney is a sensuous and serene retreat with huge private deck, on the first floor. Super-size Jacuzzi tub, two-person shower, flat-screen TV, DVD. Air-conditioned. Garden views and seasonal harbor views. Rates: $200 to $295.
Main House 
Turret
The three-story turret on the front of the house gives this room a set of beautiful bowed windows, and its name. Air-conditioned. Rates: $125 to $170.

Jillian Suite
The Jillian is a beautiful two-room suite on the second floor, with views of Mt. Battie. Shower, flat-screen TV, gas fireplace. Air-conditioned. Rates: $150 to $190.

Emma Knight
Sunny and cheerful, this room has the added feature of a Victorian claw foot tub in the room itself. Double bed, tub-shower combination, TV. Cozy, romantic, fun. Rates: $100 to $140.

Regency
A grand and spacious room, the Regency is a favorite for its location, garden views and seasonal views of the harbor, very large bath with Victorian soaking tub and separate shower. Flat-screen TV. Air-conditioned. Rates: $150 to $190.

Queen Anne Tower
The Queen Anne Tower is a sumptuous and exotically decorated suite that covers the entire top floor of the Main House. Garden views and harbor views. TVs in bedroom and in living room. Gas-log fireplace in living room. Air-conditioned. Rates: $210 to 300. 

Rose
Twin or King. On the harbor side of the house with lovely views of the gardens and seasonal views of the harbor, "everything is coming up roses" in this crisp, cheerful twin-bedded room that converts to a king bed. Cozy and comfortable. Shower, flat-screen TV. Air-conditioned. Rates: $125 to $170 as a twin; $135 to $180 as a king.

Policies
Full payment in advance is required for a one-night stay. Fifty percent payment in advance is required for two-nights and up. Guests are responsible for charges on all rooms and days reserved when notice of cancellation is less than 14 days prior to the scheduled arrival. All cancellations are subject to a $30 processing fee. All reservations made for the first time within the 14-day period are the complete responsibility of the guest and full payment is charged at the time of reservation and is nonrefundable.
We are a completely NONSMOKING inn and property and reserve the right to add a $200 cleaning fee to the bill if a guest smokes in the room and a $50 maintenance fee if a guest smokes and discards cigarettes on the property.
Breakfast meats are not served at the Inn; fish, shellfish and smoked fish are served routinely. Meals are nutritious and healthful, using organic and locally grown produce and products. We strive to accommodate all dietary considerations. We also are concerned about food allergies and allergies to down/feathers and ask that you advise us of any.
The Hawthorn promotes water conservation; we use environmentally sustainable products; we recycle and ask guests to recycle; and we use organic, locally produced/grown products.
Due to fire and safety concerns, wax candles and votive lights are not allowed in guest rooms; the Inn has a supply of Hollowick liquid candles and LED candles on request.
We cannot accommodate pets.
Check-in is between 3 PM and 6 PM. Arrangements for late arrival are appreciated in advance. Check-out 11AM.
