The Remington Room
The Remington Room, in the carriage house attached to the main Inn, exemplifies rustic charm. The room, painted in a Navaho white with white trim, has beautiful exposed post and beams. The art work throughout the room are all original Remington prints. The room over looks the park-like grounds, and the inground swimming pool. It's furnished with a queen pencil post bed, draped with white linen and thick pillows. There is a cherry bureau, leather club chair with ottoman, TV, and air conditioning.
The large, private bathroom has white wainscoting, black and white floor, pedestal sink and large Kohler tub/shower combined.
The America's Cup Room
The America's Cup Room in the carriage house is attached to the main Inn. The room is painted in a Navaho white with white wood trim and exposed post and beams. The artwork throughout the room is American's Cup prints.
The room overlooks the park-like grounds, and inground swimming pool. It is furnished with an Ethan Allen queen four-poster rice bed, with a pillow top mattress, draped with white linen and thick spa pillows. There is a large armoire for clothing, 35" flat screen TV, air conditioning, leather club chair with an ottoman and an arm chair.
The private bathroom has white wainscoting, tile floor, pedestal sink, and Kohler tub/shower combined, surrounded in navy blue & white tile.
The Captain Reed Room
The Captain Reed Room is painted in a soft cream yellow with white wood trim. The five windows let in the natural light that gleams on the original refinished wide pine bedroom floor. The Ethan Allen queen four-poster beehive bed is covered in white linen. The bedroom walls have ship prints and the room is furnished with two stuffed wingback chairs and an oak drop leaf writing desk, TV, and air conditioning.
The private bath is done with white wainscoting, pedestal sink, and shower.
Access to the Captain Reed Room has the original back stairs that have high risers and short treads. This room is not recommended for carrying up large suitcases or people with unsteady legs.
The Captain Perkins Room
The Captain Perkins Room is very large and elegant with a walk-in closet. The walls are painted in a light salmon with white trim. The five windows let in the natural light that gleams on the wide pine floor that has an original hand knotted rug from India that is very soft to the bare feet. The room is furnished with a king four-poster mahogany bed. There is also a four-poster mahogany twin bed. The end tables by the bed have Stifel brass lamps for easy reading, and an antique brass pole lamp by the twin bed. There is a bookcase filled with large volume books for your enjoyment. There is plenty of sitting room with two stuffed wingback chairs, a ladies chair, and writing table with two high back chairs. A flat screen TV and air conditioning are also included in this room.
The private bath is done with white wainscoting, black and white floor, white pedestal sink, and ball and claw tub/shower combined.
The room can also be opened up for the use of a suite to the adjoining Captain Reed Room behind a swinging bookcase and door.

Rates shown are for single or double occupancy only. Additional guests in the Captain Perkins Room will be charged $25 per guest.
Although we generally have a two-night stay minimum during in-season weekends and on national holidays throughout the year, the combination of other guests' reservations often creates a one-night stay opportunity for another guest. Please call or email to see if this applies to your visit.
