Guest Rooms/Rates
All rooms have private baths and queen or king size beds, many with canopies. Rates are per room, per night for two persons and
include a full hot served breakfast, and afternoon refreshments. Guests in the main inn are also provided with an
early morning coffee tray at each floor of the inn an hour before breakfast begins. Only the rooms on the first and second floors
of the main inn are available during the winter months (approx. mid-October to mid-April).
The Carriage House Suites are usually available mid-April until early November.First Floor Cadillac Mountain Suite This air conditioned suite is our largest room, featuring 10-foot ceilings and a king-size canopy bed. The private sitting room, convenient for early morning or late evening reading, has a wicker chair, an upholstered armchair and a wicker table. The full bath includes a claw foot tub/shower combination.

Somes Sound Suite This air conditioned suite provides a very bright bedroom with a king-sized canopy bed. The private sitting room contains wicker chairs, a table and a daybed - ideal for reading or playing one of our board games. The full bath includes a claw foot tub/shower combination.

Frenchman Bay Enjoy this very large room's wood-burning fireplace from cozy armchairs or from the king-size lace canopy bed. The spacious shower bath has a large shower. The room is air conditioned.

The full bath has a claw foot tub/shower combination. The air conditioned bedroom has a queen-size canopy bed; the sitting room contains comfortable wicker chairs, a table and a bookcase. The bath has a modern tub/shower combination. $115 - $185 Carriage House ~ Not available during the winter Across the driveway, behind the main house, is our two-story Carriage House . Each floor of the carriage house is occupied by a suite. Each suite is comprised of two bedrooms (one with queen-size, the other with king-size bed), a private living room, and a bathroom with a modern tub/shower combination. The living room of each suite includes CATV and VCR/CD/DVD players, These suites can be rented as either one bedroom or two bedroom suites. The suites are air conditioned.

- We have a two night minimum stay except during Quiet Season, and a three night minimum for some holiday periods.
- Special arrangements can be made for business travelers.
- Please add 7% Maine room tax to rates.
- Deposit: Our cancellation policy begins with our deposit requirements. In Quiet Season we require a one-night deposit; at other times of year we require a two-night deposit. For long stays or for groups we may require a greater deposit. These are real deposits, not just "a credit card number to hold the room". If the deposit is by check the check is deposited immediately. If the deposit is by credit card the card is charged at the time the reservation is made.
- Cancellation made well in advance: If the reservation is cancelled 14 or more days in advance of the first day of the reservation the deposit is immediately refunded less a $25 service charge. If the deposit was made by check the refund is by check. If the deposit was made by credit card a credit is issued to that same credit card.
- Cancellation made on short notice: If the reservation is cancelled fewer than 14 days in advance of the first day of the reservation we continue to hold the deposit. You are responsible for the entire length of your reservation; this is what has been entered in our book. Your reservation has blocked out other potential guests for the entire time you reserved. We will do our best to rerent the room and we will refund your deposit to the extent that your entire reservation is resold. For example, if you reserved 5 nights and made a 2 night deposit the first 3 nights that are rerented contribute no refund. If 4 nights are resold you would receive a one night refund. If all 5 nights are resold you will receive a refund of your deposit minus the $25 service charge. If the deposit was made by check the refund is by check. If the deposit was made by credit card a credit is issued to that same credit card.
- Reservation made on short notice: If the reservation is made fewer than 14 days before the first day of the reservation the deposit should be considered to be nonrefundable. We will attempt to rerent the room in which case the policy is the same as the short-term cancellation policy described above.
- Disposition of the $25 service charge: If you are able to rebook your reservation within 12 months of the date of your original reservation the $25 service charge will be credited towards the cost of that new reservation.
