The Treehouse
The Treehouse has a whole back wall of glass, wonderful three-level deck down into a steep wooded ravine, a king-sized cypress four-poster bed with handturned posts made from old cypress beams; a working fireplace, a full kitchen and a full bath with double Jacuzzi.
The Gazebo
The Gazebo has six sides, three filled with nine-foot-tall antique stained glass church windows; a deck overlooking the pond, a king-sized bed, a double Jacuzzi and a full kitchen.
The Dovecote
The Dovecote is a three-story shinkled slope-sided windmill with a deck overlooking a steep ravine; a king-sized mahogany four-poster bed in the downstairs bedroom, and a double antique bed in the upstairs bedroom, a double Jacuzzi working fireplace and a full kitchen; 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths.
The Cook's Cottage
The Cooks Cottage is a 19th-Century cottage where the plantation cook lived. It has a front porch with a porch swing, a big back deck overlooking the pond, a queen-sized bed, working fireplace, full kitchen and a full bath including a double Jacuzzi.
Chase's Cottage
Chase's Cottage is located right on the pond levee, with a picturesque steep-pitched tin roof, king-sized bed, full kitchen, fireplace, porch swing and a full bath with a double Jacuzzi downstairs, and upstairs there's a bedroom with queen-sized bed, full bathroom with shower, and spectacular garden view.
The Old Kitchen
The Old Kitchen was build in 1796 of brick made on the place and served as the plantation kitchen. It has skylights, exposed beams, plenty of historic atmosphere, including the original 115-foot deep hand-dug brick-lined well; two bedrooms, two baths, a double Jacuzzi, full kitchen and a working fireplace.
The Pool Pavilion
The Pool Pavilion is a two-bedroom two-bath cottage beside the swimming pool. It has a shaded gazebo porch overlooking a wooded ravine. The downstairs bedroom has a kingsized bed, bathroom with double Jacuzzi and shower, full kitchen. Upstairs the bedroom has a double bed and bathroom with clawfoot tub.
OVERNIGHT RATES
$135 for 1 or 2 guests in one bedroom,
$235 for up to 4 guests in two bedrooms and two baths.
$10 extra person charge.
Two-bedroom cottages can rent as one-bedroom if only one bedroom is used. Rates include continental breakfast in the privacy of your own cottage.
11.5% overnight tax.
10% travel agent commission (this is not something the guest pays, it is simply a commission we pay to travel professionals
who are kind enough to recommend us to their clients).
CHECK-IN TIME is any time after 2 p.m.
CHECK-OUT TIME is by 10:30 a.m.
CANCELLATION POLICY: 72-hour notice required for cancellations; we keep it short so that our guests are not penalized for illnesses or emergencies, but we certainly appreciate more notice than that.
For holidays and special-event weekends like Pilgrimage or Christmas In The Country, and for reservations of more than one cottage, we require a one-week cancellation notice.
SMOKING POLICY: We prefer that our guests who are smokers confine their smoking to porches, decks or other comfortable outdoor areas.
CHILDREN AND PETS: We welcome children and pets if they are well enough behaved not to be destructive and not to disturb the other guests. And we do not like pets on our furniture.
