You're greeted with stately columns and regal galleries. Inside, the charm of antebellum New Orleans surrounds you. This grand Greek Revival house of the 1850's exudes both the elegance and decadence of old Creole Louisiana. With soaring 14-foot ceilings and intricate, hand-crafted cypress trim, your room is a respite from the bustle of the street. Some feature 4-poster king beds, others queen and full sized beds. All have private baths. An intimate courtyard invites you to relax in our soothing spa surrounded by tropical greenery and yet you're close to the action. Just six blocks from the French Quarter, a 15 minute stroll to the non-stop energy of Bourbon Street. Fine restaurants, famous jazz clubs and sidewalk cafe's are literally a short walk from our front door.
Situated near the site of the old Marigny Plantation, Royal Street Courtyard is convenient to everything you would want to see and do in New Orleans. Just blocks from the French Market, the oldest outdoor shopping plaza in North America. Only a 10 minute walk from the decadence of Bourbon Street. An easy stroll to art galleries, antique shops, and the constantly changing tableau of Jackson Square, the heart of the French Quarter.
Royal Street Courtyard has been awarded "Best of the South" for the second year.

How To Find Us
Read MoreFrom MSY, Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport:
Taxi: approx. $33
Unbelievably, half the taxi drivers at the airport do not know the streets of the French Quarter-- even with a million tourists a month heading there. I suggest calling a New Orleans based cab company, United Cab. They sit at a cab stand across the street from the Airport. When you put your hands on your bags at baggage claim, call them at 504-522-9771 and they will drive around and pick you up relatively quickly. They will know the way...Airport Shuttle: approx. $20 per person
Not my first choice, but the are the Official Ground Transportation Provider for the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. There is a kiosk near the baggage claim area where you can book an airport shuttle. The shuttle services will not officially come directly to us. They will come within about five blocks of us. If you decide to do the shuttle service, just book the ride to the Frenchmen Hotel. I think the Frenchmen Hotel is their last stop before starting the return to the airport. Our guests usually just ask the shuttle driver to go a "few" more blocks and drop them at their B&B at 2438 Royal Street (the corner of Royal and Spain Streets) 504-522-3500Nola Airport Shuttle: approx. $15 per person
Better price than regualr Airport Shuttle. The NOLA Airport Shuttle Service is the cheapest available in New Orleans and is designed around single backpackers and couples looking for a cheap and fast alternative to Taxi’s. Only $15 when you book round trip and $17 each way on a one way ride. 12 Hour reservation notice needed for best pickup times. 4 hour cancel policy makes booking a shuttle in advance your best bet!The NOLA New Olreans Airport Shuttle also has great group discounts. The Van can hold up to 10 people comfortably and with the New Orleans Airport Shuttle it is only $13 per person for a group larger than 3 people. 504-377-8146

The E2 - Airport Route provides service from the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport in Kenner, down Airline Drive into New Orleans. During weekdays only, it provides service to the New Orleans CBD (Central Business District) at the corner of Loyola and Tulane. That is on the west side of the French Quarter. We are about a mile east of there. The Airport bus stop is on the second level of the airport, near the Delta counter, in the median (look for the sign and bench). Fare: The fare for the Airport Downtown Express route is $1.10 in Jefferson Parish and $1.65 to go to downtown New Orleans. The fareboxes will accept $1, $5, $10, $20 dollar bills and all U.S. coins. Parking
Read MoreParking is free, easy, plentiful and on-street... Back when this neighborhood was established, cars didn't exist, therefore not much off-street parking exists. So, on-street parking is very normal and natural for all of us.
