This Luxury King Bridal Suite is the largest & one of the most requested rooms at Magnolia Mansion. You will feel like Scarlet & Rhett as you open the twelve foot cedar door & enter into a room reminiscent of Tara. There are three twelve foot windows dressed with Austrian sheers & covered with the famous green velvet drapes with gold fringe that Scarlet found to be so beautiful, she made a dress out of them. So ladies, don’t get any wild ideas and decide to become a dressmaker while staying in this room!

Sit comfortably in our beautiful seating area. If you simply cannot get away completely from work during your stay, a traditional period style desk with high speed internet can accommodate your business & social needs. Two large armoires hold your travel garments & conceal a modern TV/VCR/DVD. An ornately hand carved mahogany four poster king sized bed will insure you sleep in luxurious comfort.

Vampire Lover's Lair

This Luxury King Suite is by far one of our MOST POPULAR rooms... People are just dying to get in!!! This is a great Honeymoon Suite for newly weds seeking Eternal Bliss! New Orleans decor at it's best! With walls the color of a rich Merlot wine, or maybe blood red, never the less this room is "Drop Dead Gorgeous" & screams rich decadence. The king size hand carved wooden canopy Vampire bed is a replica of the one used in the movie "Interview with a Vampire". (YES... Vampire Tours available upon request). Complete with TV/VCR/DVD & a traditional period styled desk to accompaniment your high-speed internet & laptop computer needs.

Without a doubt, this is the bathroom "Just to die for!" Furnished with a sculpted drape tub with a handheld shower that looks more like a work of art than a functional tub. A beautiful black marble & chrome vanity & drapes compliment this private premiere bathroom.

This is definitely the room for all Anne Rice fans. It is one of the most romantic & luxurious guest rooms at the Mansion. Perfect for a Romantic & Ghostly Getaways, Anniversaries, Honeymoons Proposals & Special Occasions.

Bordello Moulin Rouge

This Premier Plus King is our MOST REQUESTED & POPULAR room. Dripping with over the top French decadent décor in red and gold, you will feel as if you have stepped into an old world French Bordello. The room is furnished with a Marie Antoinette bed & mirrored vanity making it easy to loose your head in this bed. Two big comfortable chairs & ottomans feel great after a day of walking thru The Big Easy or watching your favorite movie on the TV/VCR/DVD . The walls are filled with murals reminiscent of the famous French artist Toulouse Lautrec, recreated by local artist Max Bernardi Tsarov.

This Luxury private bathroom has an old fashioned pedestal sink & a Jacuzzi for two with a wall mounted shower. Great for relaxing after a fun filled day or evening.Decorated in the style of Moulin Rouge meets an old world French Bordello. Perfect for romantic getaways, anniversaries, honeymoons & proposals. This room adjoins Bordello Storyville Jazz #5B which is furnished with a queen size bed.

Bordello Storyville Jazz

This Premier Plus Queen it the largest & most popular of our queen rooms (maybe because of the Jacuzzi tub). Dripping with over the top French/Creole decadent décor in red & gold...you will fill as if you have awakened & are back to Old New Orleans. Furnished with a queen-sized Rococo hand carved mahogany bed & complete with an ornate vanity mirror & comfy oversized chair with ottoman. The walls are filled with murals depicting the Ladies of the Night & our great jazz musicians, recreated by local artist Max Bernardi Tsarov. A Premier private bathroom features a Greek sitting Jacuzzi tub with a wall mounted shower & a pedistal sink. Decorated in the style of the Old French Quarter Storyville Bordellos, this charming room is perfect for a passionate honeymoon or romantic getaway. Also great for friends traveling together that may require separate beds.

The Vamps Bordello

Vamp is the French word for sexy woman! Perfect for all romantic occasions, this Premier Plus King Boudoir is also a popular Bridal Suite, or for those who feel mysterious & Vampish. Step into this fantasy & feel what it’s like to sleep like royalty. A sexy Boudoir, featuring a canopy bed & windows draped with rich colorful fabrics.

The walls are filled with dream-like murals recreated with an old world style by local artist Max Bernardi Tsarov. A beautiful armoire conceals the modern TV/VCR. The room comes complete with table & chairs to sip champagne & a Victorian style recliner to relax in after an exciting day of touring the Big Easy.

Pamper yourself in the Vamps Bordello's private bathroom's tub full of bubbles in our romantic double slipper cast iron tub perched upon massive brass claw feet and rinse with a hand held shower. This room also has a twin bed tucked away in a cozy space and a large walk in closet. Also perfect for Mother-Daughter getaways or friends traveling together

Napoleon's Rendezvous

This Deluxe Queen room is very romantic & the coziest of the main floor accommodations. It is filled with traditional rich gold, blue & cream French décor. A large antique armoire with the image of Napoleon greets you as you enter this elegant room. A wrought-iron canopy bed beautifully dressed with sheer fabrics with matching drapes & bed linens, welcomes you to a restful night’s sleep. Mardi Gras Getaway

It’s a pirate’s life for me… in this Queen Standard room. You can retreat like New Orleans’ beloved Jean Lafitte, a local famed pirate & man of mystery or pretend you are Captain Jack in this hideaway. A gothic wrought-iron bed, leather night stands & yes, even a treasure chest filled with jewels furnish this room. If you need to hide out for a while, this cozy room will keep you comfortably wrapped in all the colors of the ocean.
