The Green House Inn

The Green House Inn is a small historic pet friendly Inn, Guesthouse, Bed & Breakfast accomodation conveniently located in a beautiful setting in the Lower Garden District, heart of New Orleans. Built in 1840 as a New Orleans Greek Revival side-hall townhouse, the Inn has 9 intimate rooms, all with deluxe amenities together with the Inn's well known welcome of diverse lifestyles and pets.

Centrally located, The Green House Inn is convenient to the French Quarter, the Garden District, the Warehouse/Arts District, the Convention Center & the National World War II Museum, as well as Tulane and Loyola Universities. Known as one of the food capitals of the world, many of New Orleans' best known Restaurants, as well as a diverse variety of value priced Restuarants & Bars, are within easy walking distance. After a busy day of sightseeing or convention work, get way from the noise and bustle!

The Gardens are a lush tropical paradise, incuding a unique European attitude, clothing optional tree-shaped therapeautic salt-water swimming pool with waterfalls, fiber optic lighting, and an oversized Jacuzzi-style Hot Tub, that overflows into the pool. The pool is surrounded by chaise lounges and tables & chairs in casual settings. Most rooms have direct garden or balcony access to the lush tropical oasis of the spectacular large Garden & European Attitude, clothing optional Pool area. All rooms, as well as the common rooms of The Green House Inn and it's environs, have free WiFi connectivity as well as a broadband connected PC computer with printer for the use of our guests located in the lending Library which houses a multitude of books, featuring a wealth of reference books about the history and various cultures of New Orleans, one of the oldest and the most culturally diverse cities in the United States. We ask Guests to please leave Library books at checkout.

A self-serve Continental breakfast is offered from 7am-11am with a myriad of choices; coffee & tea, orange juice, croissants, muffins & toast, yogurt, boiled eggs and breakfast bars as well as Nutella and a selection of jams & jellies. There are also 2 restaurants nearby that offer full hot American-style breakfast.

The Inn has a water cooler with "spring water", 24/7 ice maker, nuts, candy & microwave popcorn available. There is also a soft-drink machine in the Garden area. The Green House Inn offers 1 free, gated "off-street" parking space per Guest with readily available on-street parking for visitors. Located on historic Magazine Street, with its 6.5 miles of antique shops, boutiques, restaurants and art galleries and adjacent to the Warehouse/Arts District, and 12 walkable blocks from the French Quarter.
