Our 5 uniquely decorated suites include private outdoor entrances, kitchenettes, premium bedding, and access to our relaxing patio with barbecue and hot tub. The Faubourg Marigny is one of New Orleans most desirable neighborhoods, and is just blocks away from Frenchmen street, Bourbon Street and the French Quarter.     Welcome to Blue60 Guest House

    The Blue60 Guest House is in the center of the famous Faubourg Marigny district of New Orleans; within walking distance for the best entertainment New Orleans has to offer. From small independent restaurants, cafes & bars in the Marigny, to the lively jazz clubs on Frenchman Street, to the Famous French Courter and Burboun Street; all within a 6 block radius of our inn. 

    The Guest House features 5 units comprising of 2 suites, 2 studios and 1 apartment. Each unit offers the convenience of a private entrance, jacuzzi access, bathrooms with full amenities, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee-maker, privacy curtains and free WiFi throughout the property.

    When you aren’t taking in the sights, relax on our landscaped courtyard and secluded porches or use the BBQ and invite friends over for dinner. The entire house can also be rented and sleeps up to 16.  

    Whether celebrating Jazz Fest, Mardi Gras, or one of the cities frequent cultural offerings, our Guest House provides a peaceful respite from the city while still being close to the action. The Marigny boasts an array of antique stores, historic homes ranging from the early to mid-1800s, and authentic southern art shops; you won’t have to go far to make the most of your visit with us.

    Travelers stay with us becaue we are close to the French Quarter.

    What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?

    We advertise that we have a Jacuzzi and our rooms are extra private.

    If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?

    The #1 reason to visit New Orleans is to party! Another popular reason us how rich in history New Orleans is.

    What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?

    Guests love that we are in a safe area and close to the French Quarter, transportation, etc.

    What’s the best kept secret about the area?

    We are in an area called The Marigny; we are east of the French Quarter and folk’s sometime stay in the garden district. Our home was built in the 1840’s, whereas the Garden District homes were bulit in the early 1910's.

    If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?

    Guests staying for more than a couple of nights should visit old homes, The French Quarter, the Mississippi River, swamps, foods galore, and many, many other attractions.

    Is there anything within walking distance of your inn?

    Just about everything is within walking distance including The French Quarter, the river, old homes, crooked streets, we’re like a Bohemia area (very different).

    What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area?

    We love and recommend Irene’s Cuisine on St. Peter.

    The Blue60 Guest House makes it home in the beautiful Faubourg Marigny neighborhood on Elysian Fields Avenue, "fields of heaven." The Marigny is located only six short blocks from the French Quarter. Locals and return visitors love the Marigny for its reputation for great restaurants, nightclubs, and live music. 

    Additionally our neighborhood boasts many antique and art shops and most homes in the area were built in the early to mid 1800's and the home designs are true treasures of New Orleans.

    From the Airport, if taking a taxi, ask the cab driver to take the I-610, and exit at Elysian Fields. 

    There are several options to the Guest House from the Airport:


    Taxis cost around $36.00 from the airport to the Guest House for one or two people and $15.00 per additional passengers. Pick-up is on the lower level, outside of baggage claim. Taxis are required to offer a credit card payment option.

    Airport Shuttle:

    Shuttle service is available from the airport to the Guest House for $20.00 per person, one-way, or $38.00 per person round-trip. Call 1-(866)-596-2699 or (504) 522-3500 for more details and to make a reservation. Advance reservations are required 48 hours prior to travel for all ADA accessible transfers. Please call in advance of your travel date for the specially-equipped shuttle to be reserved. For group reservations of 50 or more people please dial 1-(866)-596-2699.      Airport Limousines:

    Airport Limousine is the official limo service for Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. Kiosks are located in baggage claim. Rates begin at $58 for 1 or 2 passengers.  Visit their web site for more information/reservations.  Airport Limo

    Public Transportation is fairly simple and takes less than 1.5 hours from the Airport:

    Public Transit: The Airport-Downtown Express (E-2) Bus picks up outside airport Entrance #7 on the upper level.  The fare for Airport-Downtown Express (E-2) is $2.00. The fare boxes will accept $1, $5, $10, $20 dollar bills and all U.S. coins.  The Airport-Downtown Express (E-2) provides service from the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport in Kenner, down Airline Drive into New Orleans, which takes approximately 50 minutes. The Airport bus stop is on the second level of the Airport in the outer lanes at Door 7.  For more information on public transit in the area, visit the Jefferson Transit website, Jefferson Transit, or the RTA website RTA Public Transit

    Automobile Rental:

    There are 9 rental agencies at the airport. Check with each company for rates. Keep in mind that a car may not be necessary. The Guest House is less than is a ten minute walk to the French Quarter, Frenchman Street, and most of the major attractions. Public transportation is also a block away, and there is a bike rental shop 3 blocks away. Weekly street parking is almost always available on our block except during the most popular holidays. Guests rarely have to park more than a block away from the guest house and there is usually parking out front
