Escape to Riverside Inn Bed & Breakfast located in Warsaw, Kentucky... Where casual elegance and historic tradition meet.

Built in 1869, a million plus dollar renovation and expansion was just completed in the Spring of 2011, making Riverside Inn Kentucky’s newest and most luxurious bed and breakfast.
No expense has been spared in providing an oasis of relaxation and pampered comfort with all of the modern conveniences discriminating travelers expect. High count linens on premium mattresses, spacious new bathrooms, luxurious robes, Sony LCD tv’s and Blu-ray DVD players, and wi-fi are just a few of the amenities that our guest suites feature.

With five king sized suites, one queen room with private bath across the hall (with optional second bedroom), library, billiards room, piano parlor, conference room, screened gazebo and expansive grounds….. the Riverside Inn B & B gives you plenty of room to find your private hideaway or to host your group retreat.
Located directly on the Ohio River, the Riverside Inn Bed & Breakfast is about half way in between the larger cities of Louisville, Kentucky and Cincinnati, Ohio. Local attractions such as the Kentucky Speedway, Belterra Casino, and the Elk Creek and Ridge Wineries, are just a few examples of why our B & B is just moments away from all that our region has to offer. Experience a bed and breakfast beyond your expectations!
The original house was built in 1869 by Militia Captain, Senator James. H. McDanell, Sr. It partially burnt in 1889 but was rebuilt and became known as Lynwood Hall. It has two identical entrances – one facing the Ohio River, and the other facing what is known today as US Highway 42. Lynwood Hall remained in the McDanell family for three generations after his death in 1899.
In 1950, William H. Hill, a nurseryman, bought the property and ran a large tree nursery until his death in 1963. He changed the front facade of the house by adding the brick columns still standing today.
Upon his death, his daughter, Marie Hill Roberts, husband Harry and their one son and three daughters moved into the house where they lived happily until December 1971 when two daughters and one grand daughter was killed in a tragic automobile accident.
Marie Hill Roberts lived in the house until her death in 2005. In 2010 businessman Dennis Griffin and his wife Joyce bought the property from Marie’s daughter Elizabeth Roberts Jackson.
After a year of extensive restoration and renovation where the beauty of the old was merged with the convenience of new, the house opened in May 2011 as the magnificent Riverside Inn Bed and Breakfast.
