Located just 3 miles off the Pennyrile Parkway, Fox Ridge Bed & Breakfast offers two 1860’s authentic reconstructed one-room log cabins nestled in a wooded surrounding.     Why do most travelers stay at your inn?

    Most guests that I have come to stay at our Bed & breakfast comes to just stay in the cabins!

    What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?

    I guess we are best known for making our guests feel comfortable and their stay forever memorable! My cabins are both unique because they are both built out of the 1800,s era! I personally love these cabins because they take you back in time when things were a lot simpler!

    If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?

    A lot of our guest say that I was their destination, to stay in an old log cabin!

    What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?

    Everything was perfect! I guess you can't get much better than that!

    If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?

    We have some neat antique stores, some historical sites, historic Hanson, KY is nearby. We have area fishing, golfing, hiking! For a small town we do have quaint shops, a beautiful park and a lot of activities.

    Is there anything within walking distance of your inn?

    There is not anything in walking distance of our inn, but beautiful country to see and you can walk here!

    What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area?

    We have a lot of good restaurants in the area! We have everything steak, Italian, Mexican, BBQ.

    How many rooms does your inn have?

    My inn has 2 rooms. We have two private cabins!

    Do you accept pets?

    No we don't accept pets, even though we love them. We do have a very nice kennel right next door to us! I actually use them for my little dog!

    Fox Ridge Bed & Breakfast is conveniently located to Indiana, Illinois and Tennessee.
    We are 50 miles south of Evansville, Indiana, 100 miles north of Nashville, Tennessee and
    165 miles southwest of Louisville, Kentucky. We are one hour or less from Lake Barkley,
    Pennyrile State Resort Park, Auduburn State Park, and of course the Kentucky Lake Region.

    The grounds are very relaxing. You can sit on the front porch in the old rocking chairs or swing out in the yard. You could possibly see a few deer or wild turkeys. This year we have had a mother deer and her three little ones. They come right out in the yard and eat. It is a beautiful sight.

    Traveling North on the Pennyrile Parkway

    1. Take exit 42 off the parkway and continue straight across under the stop light which is Highway 254 East
    2. Continue approximately 3 miles, turn right on to Carroll Gentry Road
    3. Continue approximately 1/2 mile and you will arrive at 1130 Carroll Gentry Road on the left
    4. You will turn at the second driveway and it will take you directly to the cabin

    Traveling South on the Pennyrile Parkway

    1. Take exit44 off the parkway, turn left onto Island Ford Road
    2. Approximately 2 miles turn right onto Highway 2338 and continue approximately 1/4 to 1/2 mile
    3. At the stop sign continue across on to Carroll Gentry Road
    4. Travel approximately 1/2 miles and arrive at 1130 Carroll Gentry Road on the left
    5. You will turn at the second driveway and it will take your directly to the cabin
