Stafford is located a few miles east of St. John, the county seat of Stafford County, which is in south central Kansas. In this town you will fine many excellent B&Bs. Stafford's Annual Rodeo is held the second weekend in July and features a rodeo parade, a BBQ and city-wide garage sales. Octoberfest is held on the first Saturday of each October. Many class reunions of Stafford high school alumni are held during this event. Revelers enjoy a parade and street dance, while they admire crafts at artisans’ booths.
