Smoky Hill Vineyard and Winery:
Visitors to the crossroads of central Kansas are accustomed to thousands of acres of waving wheat, sturdy corn stalks and bushes of soybeans pushing through the earth. Fields vibrant with the vivid yellow bursts of our native sunflowers are a treat to behold. But Kansas yields another precious commodity, nestled on gently rolling slopes, and tucked away near rich, fertile Kansas riverbeds. The revival of grapes as a Kansas commodity is spurring grape-growers statewide.
Rolling Hills Wildlife Adventure:
Zoo and wildlife museum open year round. Gift shop, food, and seasonal tram rides. One destination, two unforgettable experiences. Stroll through the 65-acre zoo and enjoy more than 100 species of animals or catch a seasonal narrated tram ride. A gift shop and restaurant help make your visit complete. When finished at the zoo, take a journey around the world in the new Wildlife Museum. View animals from all over the world in naturalistic settings, complete with landscaping and life-like robots. Make sure to visit the Earl Bane Gallery to view the latest traveling exhibit, the Hideaway Hollow discovery room, and the ADM Theater, a 360-degree experience.
