The park was donated by the family of 10-year old Kerry, who was fatally injured during a baseball game. Finally, Lions Park is a 10-acre park located in the heart of the city. It has three lighted ball fields, a concession stand and restrooms, an outdoor basketball court, two shelter houses and two playgrounds. When you get hungry, try Stix Restaurant, located in the Legends Shopping Plaza in Kansas City. If you are in the mood for great local flavor, try Famous Dave's, which has great barbeque.
