Sycamore Knoll is a lovely historic Bed and Breakfast in rural Noblesville, Indiana on the White River. The peaceful country setting makes it a perfect weekend getaway spot for anyone stressed out by the city. Yet the home is convenient to US 37, and only a few miles from local attractions such as Conner Prairie, the finest living history museums, and the Verizon Music Center. It's a one-mile drive into downtown Noblesville, a charming small town featuring many antique shops and fine restaurants. Indianapolis is an easy 15-minute drive away as well. The property is situated on a gentle hill just across from the White River, on a 4-acre beautifully landscaped estate featuring an orchard. We also have a large deck and patio area with shady mature trees that provide lots of peace and quiet for naps and meditation.
Indoors, there's a TV lounge with satellite TV including lots of movie channels. Settle in for your favorite film. Or, if you're more interested in just getting away from it all, check out the library, where you'll find hundreds of books, comfortable leather chairs for napping or reading, and an antique Mission-style writing desk for catching up on your correspondence.
For breakfast, you can choose a light meal of gourmet coffee, juice, and fresh-baked muffins, or ask our resident chef for a full-sized country breakfast that will keep you satsified well into the day. Buttermilk biscuits with sausage gravy is a house specialty, as is blueberry and cream cheese stuffed French toast.
Do you get hungry in the evenings? Help yourself to the 24-hour snack buffet with soft drinks, bottled water, hot tea, and an assortment of complementary snacks. Or of you'd like to commemorate your visit with a bottle of your favorite wine, you can keep it chilled in the guest refrigerator and we will be glad to provide wine glasses and corkscrew for your use.
