Minnetrista Our most popular room is named for a neighborhood along the north bank of the White River, Minnetrista takes its name from a combination of Sioux and English words to mean “a gathering place by the water.â€Â The Minnetrista Suite celebrates Native American craftsmanship with a Navajo sand painting embellishing the dresser top. The bedroom set is completed with a handcrafted southwestern oak headboard, a matching upholstered bench, and twin bedside tables. A small reading nook with upholstered chairs and table leads you to your personal bath with a state of the art whirlpool tub large enough for two, a walk in shower, and your own chandelier. Soft comfy robes are provided. We provide amenities to assure you of convenience and comfort ... from in-room iron and ironing board, hair dryer, cable TV and WiFi Internet access to an in-room thermostat, ceiling fan, all season electric fireplace, and a quality mattress ... You supply the romance.
Sunset Knoll Sunset Knoll, located on the northwest side of the house is decorated with the north woods in mind. Shades of green provide a relaxing indoor environment. The windows overlook our centuries-old white oak trees and our gardens for a delightful outdoor view. The handcrafted alder furniture includes a queen bed and ample dresser space. Although there is a cabin in the woods feel to this suite, we have included thermostatically controlled central heat and air, a ceiling fan, an electric all-season fireplace, and cable television. The Northwest Passage, a small sitting area with a walk-in closet leads to the ensuite bathroom with a custom jetted shower large enough for two. Enjoy our fluffy towels and bathrobes during your stay. Morningside Our king room, Morningside, receives morning sunshine from the south and east windows. Here you will find handcrafted Amish furniture in the Williamsburg style, an LCD television hidden in an armoire with an all season electric fireplace, upholstered Eastlake chairs surrounding a writing table, and a recliner. The attached bath includes a 42 inch walk in shower. Whether you are here for a get-away or on business, Morningside will afford you a comfortable welcoming retreat. Orchard Lawn Orchard Lawn is a cozy room decorated with a touch of the New England coast. The room overlooks our centuries-old white oak trees. You will find this a perfect place to snuggle up with a good book or a video. Enjoy our handcrafted Amish oak queen bed and white wicker furnishings. Amenities include central heat and air with your own thermostat, a ceiling fan, an electric all-season fireplace and flat screen cable television. This room includes a desk and chair plus WiFi Internet access for our business travelers. Pamper yourself in the combination whirlpool tub and shower for one in the ensuite bathroom. The house's original bathroom has been remodeled with a retro look in black and white.
