    Franklin Street Bed & Breakfast - Greensburg, IndianaThe Franklin Street Bed & Breakfast is a lovely Victorian Home built in 1859. It was part of the original plat of the city of Greensburg, under ownership of Thomas and Elizabeth Hendricks. The home is believed to have been built by Milton Siling.

    You will feel like you stepped back in time and right at home the minute you walk in to the foyer. Just two blocks north of the Court House and the Tower Tree. This home has a rich history of hospitality dating back to its birth. Even future Presidential Candidate, James G. Blaine stayed here while campaigning for President Garfield in October 1880. His host was Col. John N. Wallingford, owner of this home.

    • Take I-74 East to Exit 134B to Greensburg. Go straight onto Michigan Avenue.
    • Turn left onto North Street. Turn left onto Franklin Street.
    • Look for red brick house on Corner.

    From Cincinnati

    • Take I-74 West to Exit 134B to Greensburg.
    • See above directions to home.

    From Louisville

    • Take 65 North to Columbus.
    • Take 46 East to downtown exit.
    • Continue on 46 East.
    • Turn left on Franklin Street home.

Maybe you would like to experience the Bicentennial Bicycle Trail which was established in 1976 to commemorate the country's bicentennial. Some of the oldest homes in the county are located here!
