There have been 96 weddings at The Victorian Veranda B&B. Since I am located right off Route 20 I prefer to host inside weddings. I can seat 40-50 people in the dining room with the alcove a lovely setting for the bride and groom. A piano is in the dining room if needed. The reception can be almost unlimited in the summer months. I have had three for over 300 people but most average 50-100 people. Anything over 125 you have to rent a tent, tables and chairs. I can seat 75-125 informally on the veranda for smaller receptions. All food, decorations, etc. you furnish. If you plan on serving alcohol you are required to get a "One Day Liquor Liability License" through your insurance company. I have several suggestions for caterers, tents, etc. and will help in any way that I can. Having a wedding, reunion, party or just a get together?? Book all 5 rooms for one or more consecutive nights and pay just $75.00 for each room per night. That's a savings of $110 per night. (based on 1 or 2 people per room..extra people cost just $25.00 per person/per night.) Each indiviually decorated guest room has its own private bath and includes a full homemade breakfast in the morning. Your guests can continue to visit and catch up in the comfortable living room, on the inviting veranda or even in the kitchen!
