Our historical Victorian farmhouse is over 150 years old and holds much charm and history, yet it is current in every way to meet your overnight needs. We have wireless access and we offer a comfortable haven for business travelers. Just 5 blocks from antique shops and restaurants, we boast 10 golf courses within 10 miles of our location, as well as being close to lakes, swimming, fishing, cross country skiing, bike paths, and a car museum.

When you have overnight guests and need a place for them to stay or if you want a peaceful get-away for yourself, but you don't want to travel far, our doors are open. Our bed and breakfast near Chicago is the bed and breakfast Barrington visitors enjoy, as well as the bed and breakfast Northern Illinois travelers return to. When you stay at our bed and breakfast Long Grove Chocolate Fest is only a few minutes away! Stay for a night or for an entire week!

The hand-painted mural on the wall provides a lovely setting for relaxing, reading and conversation. There are a variety of board games on the book shelves for your use.

Allow us to indulge you with a sumptuous full breakfast served at 8:30 with candlelight, crystal and china. Early risers enjoy a head start on the day with fresh-brewed coffee and newspaper in the parlor. Upon request, the dining room can be rented for special occasions, catering can be arranged to construct your own personal feast. Tables are beautifully set with silver and gold in old time elegance.

Pick a hat to wear and tour the Bed & Breakfast. Any group is a good group to bring to the B & B for an Afternoon Victorian High Tea. All groups are special enough for this elegant treatment, hosted in our formal dining room at $18 per person.
