Oak Park Suite
Oak Park is architecturally fabulous having both the Frank Lloyd Wright influences and incredible Historical Victorian architectural influences. Both are rarely found in the same structure. A sophisticated design team headed up by Gail Prauss Interior design studio located in Oak Park highlights how both styles can and do work in the same space. This suite combines the best of architecture in Oak Park with pure luxury and comfort.
A tranquil and serene color palette of shallow marine and pale pistachio used in the luxury bedding blends a soft quilted pattern lifted by a bold jacquard. Velvety ribbon and brushed silver button details beautifully accent this fresh design.
Solid mahogany doors, lines of the cherry wood entertainment cabinet, and the custom bed have the influences of Frank Lloyd Wright. Curves found in the Victorian architectural elements of the stained glass window are again repeated in the granite tops of the kitchen area and breakfast bar, combining the two styles with ease and comfort.

Antique stained glass imported from Europe was used to create the magnificent window in the front of the suite. The leaded prisms inspire all those who have an interest in architecture as they dance in the morning light and glow in the moonlight.

Jimmy Stewart Suite
This second floor suite offers understated and refined elegance with a level of sophistication reminiscent of old time Hollywood glamour. Rarely if ever found in a hotel setting guests will enjoy the finest silk drapes and bedding, hand stenciled carpet, antique furniture and an unparalleled private bath.
A writing desk with its own magnificent bay of windows and 10 feet ceilings takes you back to a time when poetry and letters were written and postcards were sent. Harvey House postcards are found in the writing desk drawer along with stationary and envelopes and stamps. The B&B has WIFI and the desk provides a perfect spot for the modern day traveler.
The arch motif throughout the B&B repeats itself within the suite and again in the bath with an amazing 6 foot high arched mirror over the marble two bowl countertop. The oversized Jacuzzi tub for two, a separate shower, and private commode offer a level of luxury that will delight even the most discriminating guests. Policies
Policies - Well-behaved children are welcome (on a case by case basis and in some of the rooms). We reserve the right to refuse service to those whose behavior is detrimental to our home!
- All room rates are subject to change (USD American Dollars). Tax is additional to all prices quoted.
- A deposit equal to first nights stay plus one half of the remainder nights is required to hold a suite. Refund of deposit less $20 handling fee if cancellation is made 7 days (168 hours) before stated arrival time.
- On cancellations made less than 7 days before scheduled arrival time, a gift certificate in the deposit amount (less $20 handling fee) may be requested. The gift certificate is good for one year from cancellation date. Otherwise deposit is forfeited.
