    Guest Rooms/Rates    		 We have 2 bedrooms available for our guest, one of which is a Double and one is a Queen. All are located on the second story of this stately home. We also have a luxurious penthouse suite. Each room is decorated with original antique furnishings. We provide candy and fresh cut flowers (when in season) for every room. Let the Lord of the Manor know how we can make your stay more comfortable.

     

    Amenities

    Relax in the common room equipped with color TV and DVD Player. Come visit us during the winter holidays, when the house becomes a fairy wonderland. Every room has a decorated tree in it and the place is the talk of the village with its grand decorating.

    Around the Village

    Mendota has several parks for your enjoyment, plus the Railroad, Historical, and Prairie Agricultural Museums. In the evening, you might enjoy dinner at one of our fine local restaurants. For a real taste of village fun, visit the Sweet Corn festival, the second weekend in August or the Mendota Tri-County Fair, on Labor Day Weekend. Also, Railroad Crossing Days are the third weekend of June. We are also located close to Starved Rock State Park, Matthiesson State Park, and the Carus Historical Mansion, in LaSalle. We do provide Complimentary Transporation between Lord Stocking's B&B and Mendota Amtrak Station.
