Trail of Tears Lodge & Sports Resort

We are a multi-facetted Lodge/B&B & Outdoor Recreational Facility. We were, in the beginning, an original barn built around the 1930's and converted in 1988 to a Rustic Lodge. We are located on 425 acres of land surrounded by the Shawnee National Forest in the rugged foothills of the Ozark Mountains of Southernmost Illinois. We pride ourselves on being 'You're home away from home', but with a relaxing atmosphere, loads of seasonal outdoor recreational activities, and plenty of amenities for all. Lodging, a family cabin, camping, a restaurant, receptions, reunions, & meeting facilities are all available by reservation for individuals, groups, & special events.
