    The Founders' Mansion Inn Bed & Breakfast - Grayville, Illinois The Victorian romance of The Founders' Mansion Inn Bed & Breakfast reflects the lives and times of Grayville's founding family, The Grays. The Mansion, completed in December of 1895, was designed in the classic "Queen Anne" style by George F. Barber, a well-known architect of the era and was moved into in 1896, by the heirs of WW Gray. A landmark structure since that time, it was officially listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991 for its outstanding architectural and historic significance.

     

    StairwayThe Founders' Mansion Inn Bed & Breakfast offers a "Turn-of-the-Century" feeling with all of today's most important amenities. Choose from three beautifully furnished rooms, each with private bath, central heat and air, cable T.V. DVD player, and hair dryer. A gourmet breakfast is provided each morning of your stay.     Enjoy one of 3 fireplaces (all with ventless gas burning logs) that adorn the first floor common areas. There are several porches and decks that are provided for relaxing outdoors. We have a porch swing with a push pedal, and a wicker swing in the turret. Relax with some fresh iced tea on our deck under a shady umbrella while enjoying our energetic squirrels or stroll the gardens to get a closer look at our large selection of perennials. Bocce balls and lawn crocket are provided for the entertainment of our guests.
