(Elsie room has an additional twin bed). Exclusive to The Steamboat House --The Bess room also has a private, screened porch. Coffee and teas are served outside the guestrooms
at 7:30 each morning. Evenings, enjoy hot beverages in the upstairs parlor beginning at 8pm.
Elsie
The largest room showcases a walnut carved sleigh bed framed by gold silk draperies and a view of the wooded hillside behind the mansion. Elsie can also accommodate a third adult ($50/night additional). Rates from $110 to $155/night.
Lene
A bright corner room with double banks of windows, Lene has a dramatic 4-poster bed, hardwood floors, and a view of the gardens, fountain, and gazebo. Rates from $105 to $150/night
Viola
A large corner room with deep walnut antique furnishings and original hardwood floors, the Viola is a relaxing retreat with a view of the gardens, fountain, and gazebo. Rates from $105 to $150/night.
Amanda
The romantic abode of original owner Sarah Harris, Amanda has all the elements of a Victorian getaway. A bay window overlooks gardens, fountain and gazebo. Rates from $105 to $140/night.
Bess
Peaceful and serene, Bess features a lovely, private screened porch with tables and chairs. The view overlooks the wooded hillside. Enchanting Eastlake antique furnishings. Rates from $110 to $155/night.
Rates & Reservation Information
- Two-night minimum stay most weekends.
- 10% discount for returning guests after the third 2 night stay.
- We love pets and children, but CANNOT accommodate them.
- For the comfort of our guests, smoking is not permitted on the property.
- MasterCard, Visa, cash and checks accepted.
- Group reservations (3 or more rooms) require a 1 night deposit per room at time of reservation.
- Cancellations: Cancellations less than 14 days in advance of reservation will be charged for any portion of the reservation date(s)s not rebooked. For all cancellations, a $25 fee will be assessed.
