Royal ChateauHigh ceilings and architectural details makes the stalwart Hearthstone Lodge look historic, but it was lovingly built at the turn of the latest century, in 2000. The innkeepers, Harty and Marjorie, applied 27 years of luxury lodging experience in creating the fabulous, spacious, and artistically appointed rooms in the five thousand square foot main lodge building. (More buildings and accommodations are planned for the future.) Each accommodation is a work of art. Hand picked estate furnishings, prints, imported porcelains, and fine linens grace each guest room. World class amenities such as fireplaces, private Jacuzzis, balconies, cathedral ceilings, canopied king size beds ensure that guests enjoy a luxurious and relaxing stay. An all-season lodge, the elegance is enhanced when it snows. The Valley enjoys uncommonly mild weather, even in winter. But a touch of snow makes it a veritable winter wonderland. A cozy fire and a hot beverage make perfect companions for a book from our private guest library. For the more daring, a hike around the estate, perhaps following one of the many deer trails, is a popular endeavor.
Surrounded by forest, all of our spacious rooms have a covered deck entrance with skylights so that the towering pine forest is open to view in all directions including up. Each of our beautiful rooms is a unique work of art. All Hearthstone rooms have vaulted ceilings, fireplaces, Jacuzzis, French porcelain sinks, eight foot high custom mirrored wardrobe doors and all the world class amenities, such as coffee makers, irons, satellite TV/VCR, wood and tapestry suitcase racks, telephones with dataports, air conditioning, robes, books and more. Business services such as Internet access, fax, copy services, business supplies and computer access are available to all our corporate guests. All Hearthstone rooms have front balconies overlooking the Clearwater River and its many sandy beaches which are only yards away. The balconies offer comfortable seating for guests to relax, muse and read.
