Our Lodge is nestled in a Hawaiian fern forest next to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Our lodge features Kazamura Crater (grotto) and Lava tube where we give Lava tube tours to our guests. All rooms at the lodge have private entrances, bathrooms and parking.
Volcano Hawaii’s Aloha Crater Lodge offers accommodations and lava tube tours near the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Accommodations include Bed and Breakfast rooms and a Vacation Rental. Located in the Hawaiian, rain forest our Bed and Breakfast rooms are designed with privacy in mind for each Guest, rooms have private entrances, bathrooms and kitchenettes. Continental, in room breakfast is served daily in our BnB rooms. Jetted, whirlpool tub invites you to relax after a long day of hiking in the National Park.

Aloha Crater Lodge has a collapsed lava tube on site that exposes an entrance into Kazamura cave. Kazamura cave is the longest, lava tube system in the world, about 40 miles long. Cave tours are led daily. The entrance into Kazamura cave is a medium to hard difficulty then once in the tube it is easy to medium. The initial descent is a short distance on a rocky, muddy slope that leads to a ladder. Hard hats, flashlights and gloves provided. Lava tube tours from the Aloha Crater Lodge entrance to Kazamura cave started in 2010. Currently they are complimentary for Guests. It’s a unique adventure that shouldn’t be missed.
Established in 2007 Aloha Crater Lodge is owned and operated by Dan and Shannon Fisher, Big Island residents for over 20 years.
