Nestled in the West Maui Mountains, this quiet, private Bed & Breakfast offers incredible views of the Pacific Ocean and islands surrounding Maui. Located on the popular west side of the island, we are just minutes from the historic whaling town of Lahaina and the Kaanapali resort area. Beaches, championship golf, shopping, hiking, swimming, snorkeling, fabulous restaurants and dozens of other activities are just minutes away from Maui's most luxurious B&B.
Ho'oilo is Hawaiian for winter and Ho'oilo House is the perfect place to escape your winter days...or any day for that matter.

In addition to our eco-friendly practices, we also now use Gilchrist & Soames eco-friendly Zero% line of amenities and participate in the Clean the World amenity recycling program. The furnishings, decor and much of Ho'oilo House itself, have been imported from Bali. Beautiful ocean views are enjoyed from nearly every window in the house and each bedroom includes a private lanai and bath. Each suite is unique with a custom bed, tub, sink and private outdoor shower. All suites have a bamboo laminate floors in the bedroom area, and a special tile, rock or marble floor in the bathroom. You will enter each suite through an imported traditional Bali door with custom Mother of Pearl inlay in unique patterns.

We love welcoming honeymooners and wedding couples to our peaceful piece of paradise. While we do not offer weddings on our property, we have created a beach wedding option for guests staying with us and looking to be married while on Maui.

Please note that we are not a vacation rental. We always operate as a B&B - even when one party has rented all of the rooms. As always we will prepare a delicious Continental breakfast, provide daily maid service and offer our outstanding service.

"My wife and I spent half of our honeymoon here, and the second half at Grand Wailea in the south of Maui. We wished we had spent the entire time at Ho'oilo House! The Grand Wailea was nice and offered everything we expected, but it was of no comparison to the relaxed and beautiful setting provided at this gorgeous B&B. Dan and Amy were as available as needed and more than accomodating to any request. It was extremely nice to have the freedom and convenience of being steps away from your own vehicle to get out and explore. The grounds are well-kept and the rooms are spotless. We were apprehensive about the size of the room from the photos (Nalu) but I could not have been happier with the decision. The private balcony provided great views even from the bed. Everything that can be written about this place doesn't do it justice. Just go."
