Poipu Plantation is situated on an acre of Hawaiian Gardens, and offers nine Kauai Cottage Style Vacation Rental suites with kitchen and four Bed and Breakfast Suites in a 1938 Kauai Plantation House, all in Air Conditioned Comfort.

Only a short walk from Brennecke's and Poipu Beaches, the best of all Kauai beaches, Poipu Plantation Resort offers suites available for as little as $130 nightly, in a warm, Hawaiian island style setting. Poipu Plantation Resort is a short walk or drive to restaurants, shopping, golf courses, tennis facilities, surfing, swimming, and snorkeling.

Poipu Plantation Resort offers both bed & breakfast and vacation rental suites. All of our vacation rental condos are equipped with a full kitchen (non B and B). A full breakfast and daily housekeeping are offered to our B & B Inn guests. Common Ground Facilities

On the grounds you will find a hot tub and barbecue that all guests are welcome to use. A spacious screened lanai that is bright and cheery serves as the common area of the house where a delicious breakfast is served each morning from 8 to 9 A.M. We provide limited housekeeping services, and there is a laundry room on the grounds for your convenience, as well as a free telephone in the Lanai Room. From the Lanai Room, you can see the blue Pacific Ocean, a short walk away, and the golden glow of the Poipu sunset.

We are able to offer discount activity rates for our guests, including luaus, snorkeling tours, sunset cruises, zip line, Nä-pali or Ni'ihau boat tours, Scuba, Ocean and River kayaks and more!

Visitors to Hawaii would need a long stay on Kauai indeed to take advantage of all the wonderful activities Kauai provides. Not only does Kauai have great beaches with world class surfing and snorkeling, but we also have some of the best getaway beaches in the world. Brennecke's Beach, world famous for body surfing, is a couple of blocks walk along the coastline from Po'ipu Plantation. Next to Brennecke's is Po'ipu Beach, a great place to begin your snorkel. Po'ipu Beach is ideal for children to experience the water at Keiki beach and enjoy the new play area of Po'ipu Beach park.

The remote Maha'ulepu Beach is 15 minutes away and hikes such as Larsen's Beach in the north are well worth it! There are several nearby charter boat operators for whale watching in the winter, scuba diving all year long, tours and snorkeling of the Nä-pali coast or the forbidden island and romantic sunset cruises. You can also rent a kayak on the Wailua or Hanalei Rivers for that jungle adventure.

Within a few minutes drive from Po'ipu Plantation are the National Tropical Botanical Gardens. Allerton garden tours are offered daily as well as Mc Bryde Garden, home to the largest ex situ collection of native Hawaiian flora in existence. At no charge, visitors can wander through the lush gardens at the Allerton visitor center, across from Spouting Horn. There is no shortage of shopping on Kauai, either at the Po'ipu Shopping Center (a few blocks away) or in the quaint little plantation town of Koloa.

Two of the most popular golf courses on Kauai, the Kiahuna and Po'ipu Bay (home of the PGA Grand Slam) are within a mile of Po'ipu Plantation. Kukuiolono 9 hole course for under $10 is our little secret. You can save with twilight times here in Po'ipu, or at The Kauai Lagoons and Princeville Golf Courses. The awesome beauty of Kauai, can best be experienced by taking a helicopter tour from one of the many operators on Kauai. Or see it from your zip-line or tubing adventure through the jungle.
