    Your event may be hosted outdoors for up to 300 guests in our lush Round Bowl Springs Gazebo and Event Lawn surrounded by beautiful woods, a lovely pond, and peaceful walking trails.



    If you prefer an indoor wedding venue, our James Madison Hall and Daniel Morgan Room are open and spacious with room for up to 285 guests. They feature a raised stage and double door connections between the event spaces, all accessed from a wide, inviting hallway that opens onto the lovely outdoor lawn and patio areas.



    For those brides that are looking for a truly unique setting for up to 250 guests, The Variety Works is a very special structure originally built in the late 1870s and filled with history and even some mystery from the past. This historic venue can be transformed into a variety of images to suit any bride’s vision, from rustic elegance to old world European traditional.

The area surrounding Madison is renowned for its stunning golf courses and year-round outdoor sporting, whether it be a guided quail hunt or an afternoon of bass fishing on a private, stocked pond.     For smaller groups, our media room (located within the hotel) provides an intimate setting, ideal for executive retreats and other parties up to 16. We understand what modern business meetings require, and we’ve fitted the room with projection equipment, integrated for use with a PC or Mac, in addition to Wi-fi and teleconferencing capabilities.
    For larger groups, The James Madison Conference Center, also located on the property, allows for groups up to 250 to gather in our James Madison Hall, which is equipped with a stage and public address system. When it’s time to continue your meeting in a smaller, break-out groups, we have a number of rooms available. If the weather is nice, you’ll love our outdoor area which includes a grass amphitheatre and adjacent park.

    The James Madison Inn and Conference Center  offers the perfect setting for any event.

    conference center madison gaJames Madison Hall, our grand salon, offers 2,400 square feet of space with theater-style seating for up to 225 people, or 160 people seated at round tables. This room is open and spacious, featuring a raised stage and a variety of lighting options. The space can be set up to suit your type of gathering. We also offer first class catering services.

    For a more intimate setting, The Daniel Morgan Room offers 1,000 square feet of space, seating up to 75 people theater-style or 48 guests at round tables. This space is perfect for a smaller business conference or private party.

    Both conference spaces connect with double doors, and open onto a beautifully landscaped grass lawn amphitheater with a large, outdoor patio area overlooking the famed Round Bowl Spring Park and pond.

    We are a one hour drive from Atlanta, GA and one and a half hour drive from Augusta and Macon, GA.

    We are just .2 miles from Main Street and only 3 miles from 1-20, exit 114 in Madison.

    Directions from I-20 east of Atlanta:

    • Take Exit 114 (Hwy. 441)
    • Turn north from exit
    • Continue to the Historic Madison Downtown
    • Turn left at red light at W. Washington (in the heart of downtown)
    • Follow the road 2 blocks
    • The James Madison Inn will be on your left.
