    Double Cabins Plantation B&B Enjoy a full, hot southern breakfast at this beautiful 1841 restored cotton plantation--a rare gem that survived the Civil War and Sherman's fury.

    The house is stocked with antiques. A romantic view of the 100-year-old Magnolias, flowers and shrubs is available from every room. The antebellum garden is perfect for a morning stroll. Also, enjoy rare birds, peacocks, horses and other animals among the walking trails. Two slave quarters and a museum can also be toured.

    We cater to RACE FANS! We are only 10 miles from the Atlanta Motor Speedway, the City of Griffin and the Historic Mainstreet and old Downtown Griffin. Tour other Antebellum Mansions and a Confederate Cemetery. We are 10 minutes away from Tanger Outlet Shopping Mall and 25 minutes from Jonesboro, the site of Stately Oaks Plantation-the home in which Margaret Mitchell based her novel, Gone with the Wind. The Road to Tara Museum is located in the historic train depot also in Jonesboro just minutes from Stately Oaks. A package to tour all of Griffin and Jonesboro can be arranged. We are also 20 miles from Historic Jackson, Georgia and Indian Springs State Park, the oldest state park in the nation. The Indian Springs Hotel was built by Chief William McIntosh of the Creek Indians in 1823 and will be open in Spring of 2006 for tours.

    Hollberg Room (Master Bedroom): The Hollberg Room features oil paintings of the Hollberg Family and a room full of period antiques: A magnificent carved Victorian bed with Burrell walnut medallion, two marble top Victorian end tables, an Empire Mahogany linen press atop a chest of drawers, mahogany wardrobe with marquetry and dental. a gold Victorian men's armrest sofa, a round mahogany card table, Victorian chest of drawers, Victorian upholstered armchair and a modern upholstered vibrator recliner for relaxing. It has an adjoining private bath and shower with a full size vanity.

    The Sinclair Room: Features paintings of the Sinclair's who immigrated from Scottland and settled in the home. Features an antique bed and original plantation furniture including a very old piano and plantation secretary. A full size gentleman's sofa and two chairs. This room includes many antique treasures as well as old books back to the early 1800's.

    Lenora's Room: This room has been recently renovated, including refinished original pine floors with Oriental rug. An American black cherry Sleigh Bed. A 1920's dressing table. A wash stand original to the house, fireplace with mantle and a brick hearth. Antique Music Box, Rocking Chair, Satellite TV, DVD/VCR Player and CD Player.

    Caroline's Room: - Bedroom with Efficiency Kitchen. Antique Mahoghany Four Poster Bed with matching upholstered antique rocking chair. New plush carpet. Garden View. Master bathroom with shower, tub and double sinks with vanity. Full working kitchen with stove, oven refridgerator and kitchen sink. Great for a couple or family. This is also a child friendly room comes with or without toys and a rockinghorse.

    • Rates: $99 - $125 per night. $199 for NASCAR racing weekends with a two night minimum.
