Mountain Laurel Creek Inn & Spa

We are just north of the historic town of Dahlonega,known as the site for the first historic gold rush in the US, and just over and hour north of Atlanta. Mtn Laurel Creek is right in the heart of North Georgia Wine Country with five wineries within 15 minutes in either direction, and minutes away from the Appalachian Trail.

Mountain Laurel Creek is the premier B&B for that special mountain getaway, with six rooms to choose from, in a perfect mountain setting and a peaceful and quiet sanctuary to totally relax, re-energize and pamper yourself or that special someone.

Spend the day relaxing in our day spa with a theraputic body massage, or divine facial, enjoy a glass of local wine in our pub, Copper Penny Pub where we feature local north Georgia wines, or take a stroll down our private trail to the creek. We are close to may local area waterfalls, with plenty of hiking trails nearby, hike part of the Appalachian Trail and many other State parks in the area. You can also go horseback riding nearby, kayaking, tubing or canoeing down the Chestatee or Etowah Rivers, or read a book out in our pavilion or rock on the front porch rocking chairs.

Each spacious room has either a queen or king bed, sitting area, private bath with whirlpool tubs, gas fireplaces, private balcony, in-room coffee service, clock radio with CD player. There is a TV in the common area and pub for viewing. No TV or phones are in the rooms. Sorry, our accommodations are not suitable for children or pets.

We also have a separate cabin available, Dancing Bear Cottage, which sleeps two. It has one bedroom, eat in kitchen, bathroom with a free standing jetted tub, and steam shower, screened in back porch with hot tub. This is a luxury cottage near the Inn.
