We are just north of the historic town of Dahlonega,known as the site for the first historic gold rush in the US, and just over and hour north of Atlanta. Mtn Laurel Creek is right in the heart of North Georgia Wine Country with five wineries within 15 minutes in either direction, and minutes away from the Appalachian Trail.
Mountain Laurel Creek is the premier B&B for that special mountain getaway, with six rooms to choose from, in a perfect mountain setting and a peaceful and quiet sanctuary to totally relax, re-energize and pamper yourself or that special someone.
Spend the day relaxing in our day spa with a theraputic body massage, or divine facial, enjoy a glass of local wine in our pub, Copper Penny Pub where we feature local north Georgia wines, or take a stroll down our private trail to the creek. We are close to may local area waterfalls, with plenty of hiking trails nearby, hike part of the Appalachian Trail and many other State parks in the area. You can also go horseback riding nearby, kayaking, tubing or canoeing down the Chestatee or Etowah Rivers, or read a book out in our pavilion or rock on the front porch rocking chairs.
Each spacious room has either a queen or king bed, sitting area, private bath with whirlpool tubs, gas fireplaces, private balcony, in-room coffee service, clock radio with CD player. There is a TV in the common area and pub for viewing. No TV or phones are in the rooms. Sorry, our accommodations are not suitable for children or pets.
We also have a separate cabin available, Dancing Bear Cottage, which sleeps two. It has one bedroom, eat in kitchen, bathroom with a free standing jetted tub, and steam shower, screened in back porch with hot tub. This is a luxury cottage near the Inn.

Oasis SpaThe Oasis Spa of Mountain Laurel Creek Inn is nestled in the North Georgia Mountains of Dahlonega, Georgia and is open to the public by reservation only. For a greater sense of well being and to help reduce stress, a therapeutic massage or skin care treatment is a perfect accompaniment to your mountain getaway. Each treatment is individually customized for your personal needs. Therapeutic massage services, a specialty at Oasis Spa, are also available as a compliment to your existing pain management or mobility program. Your innkeeper, Dennis is a licensed and certified Neuromuscular Massage Therapist and an aesthetician trained in trigger point therapy to help release tight and sore muscles and relieve stress. Please let us know your choice in massage services, if you prefer a more relaxing swedish massage, or more firm pressure so we can match the right therapist for your needs.Why is it important to reduce stress? Working to reduce stress is a positive step toward preventing the visible signs of aging. Not only do our professional hands-on treatments help reduce stress, but they are also beneficial in improving the overall health of the skin by helping to reduce the inflammation caused by stress.Our hours of operation are from 10am to 6pm, seven days a week. Later hours may be arranged on an as available basis for guests staying at the Inn. Spa treatments require a 24 hour notice of cancellation or rescheduling in order to avoid being charged the full amount of the scheduled treatment.Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. Arriving late for your service will inconvenience our other clients and may require your therapist to shorten the length of your treatment, with full charges being applied.Gratuity is not included in the price of your service and may be paid directly to your therapist or can be added to your bill.
