Nestled in the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia, near the Appalachian Trail. Lily Creek Lodge Bed and Breakfast is a forest-hugged mountain retreat that combines cozy, European antique furnishings and art with modern comforts and amenities. Lily Creek is the perfect setting for your romantic getaway, a friendly gathering place or just a natural environment to relax. We offer 12 unique rooms, each designed to give the feel of a particular destination on your vacation.
The rustic location of our B&B was once the site of a 19th Century hydraulically mined gold field, but it is now home to our unique accommodations, welcoming visitors to the Dahlonega area from all around the world. Take an afternoon stroll around the grounds and discover our quiet and shady gazebo, perfect for observing nature or just winding down. Meet at the bocci court during afternoon and later gather at the firepit to roast marshmallows. During the summer months, take the pool path down to the secluded pool with cascading waterfall and spacious covered pavillion provide a campy atmosphere for playing games and cooling off.
Each morning, you can choose our differnet dining locations to dine in the gazebo, on the deck, or in the formal French dining room, where we serve Lily Creek 's Signature Full Gourmet Breakfast. We also offer the opportunity to "Dine in the Trees," in our woodsy treehouse overlooking the breath-taking view of the forests of the Blue Ridge Mountains. In the afternoon you can enjoy an afternoon treat and in the evening we will offer you a glass of wine to unwind.
If you prefer to read a book next to the fireplace or listen to music or watch some TV, come inside the inn and experience the coziness of the Gathering Room and the Library. Explore the town square and enjoy some of the town's music, art festivities and great shopping for antiques, crafts and collectibles.

About Us
The Lodge is located just four miles from the Dahlonega Town Square. It sits on acreage that is a wildlife sanctuary and the home of many flora and fauna found only in the mountain ecology. Bring your binoculars or borrow ours to observe the hummingbirds, finches, hawks, and woodpeckers, as well as a myriad of butterflies. You may even run across rabbits, squirrels and deer early in the morning.
The Lodge is a year round retreat with each change of the seasons providing it's own special magic. In Spring, the delicate pinks of wild honeysuckle and the brilliant orange blossoms of the flame azalea accentuate the white flowering dogwood. Our peaches, cherries, figs, pears, apples, blackberries, and blueberries are also in bloom.
In Summer, the fruit is ripe and the lush greens and delightfully cool evenings provide our guests with a respite from life's cares and the opportunity to enjoy the cool cascading waterfall at the pool that is tucked away in the forest.
Fall brings Nature's palette to life when the leaves change and the mountains are painted in spectacular reds, yellows, and oranges. It is a time for celebration and outdoor adventures just before the next change of season arrives.
Winter opens new vistas as the hardwoods shed their leaves. This is an ideal time to observe the native wildlife and enjoy the beautiful views. Lily Creek is a soothing shelter from the cold with a grand fireplace inside and a large firpit outside for those who are tough enough to brave the cold.
The Gathering Room
The large gathering room is filled with sunlight each morning and is a welcoming area to gather before a gourmet breakfast in the dining room or in the evening after your many adventures. Cozy up or gather around and enjoy this warm and inviting room. With its grand arched-stone fireplace and antique furnishings, Lily Creek's Gathering Room provides a warm and welcoming seating area great for reading, talking, or just relaxing. Decorated in the Art Nouveau style, one of the Gathering room's attractions is its 16th century entryway, hardware and an antique door crafted of wood from a sunken ship. The Gathering room also houses an antique upright piano for your enjoyment.
The Library
Just a few steps away from the gathering room, this room is designed in the style of a comfortable den with a large screen TV and multiple bookshelves full of great reading material. Settle into a day of indoor relaxation in Lily Creek's quiet, inviting library, with a broad picture window overlooking the garden. On rainy afternoons, bring a book and curl up on the comfy couch or choose from one of our many reading selections.
The Dining Room
The French Dining Room is just one of the places where you can enjoy Lily Creek's Signature full gourmet breakfast, with American and European accents. Weather permitting, you can treat yourself to breakfast al fresca, on the deck, in the treehouse or in the gazebo.
We start your day with fresh coffee, juice and a large assortment of teas made with our delicious pure spring water. Combinations of fresh fruits are served daily. After much trial and error, we believe we have the best homemade granola (“Lily Creek Gold”) to be found, along with an assortment of other personal favorites for you to try. As a chid, I was taught to bake. My Mother baked for her family as a way to show her affection. We knew the smell of our favorite cookie, cake or bread baking in the oven and every bite said “I love you”.
My Mother passed this passion on to me; we at Lily Creek search for and test many recipes to find the ones we hope will be your favorites as well. My personal concern for healthful eating habits, I'm afraid, is combined with a devilish sweet tooth. So, vegetables and fruit show up on the menu to counter that cookie in the afternoon.
As one more way to make your breakfast special, we offer three seating times: 8:30am, 9:30am, or 10:30am.
The Decks

The Tree House
It was your secret clubhouse when you were a kid, but now, you don't have to climb that pesky ladder. Lily Creek's charming treehouse, complete with a staircase, is the perfect getaway for an intimate "Breakfast in the Trees" or a day of wildlife watching. And for nature-loving couples, the tree house's enchanting forest atmosphere sets the ideal mood for exchanging your special vows.
The Gazebo
Slip away into the forest and discover the lovely simplicity of Lily Creek's gazebo. Just one of the charming locations where you can eat our gourmet breakfast, the gazebo is a cool, private hideaway nestled in nature. Tucked in the pines and oaks of the mountain valley, the Lodge's gazebo is a naturally romantic site for a cozy, forest wedding. -
The Pool
With its cool waterfall and sun-washed stone patio, Lily Creek's pool gives you a taste of the tropics. Nearby is a shady pavilion, great for relaxing after a mid-day swim or sharpening your board game skills. Around the corner, you'll find our soothing hot tub, an instant fix for relaxing your troubles away. The pool is our hidden treasure in the forest. The unique setting provides a secluded escape from the world. Spend the day quietly enjoying the sounds of the surrounding forest as you lounge by the pool, swing in the hammock, or rock in the rockers.

Weddings
Lily Creek Lodge is an ideal location for an intimate wedding in the North georgia mountains. Nestled on 9 acres on a lovely mountain ridge, the Lodge has several locations on its grounds that provide the romantic and serene atmosphere for an intimate ceremony. The grounds are gently landscaped to compliment the forest's natural beauty, and will undoubtedly compliment the bride on her special day.

There are several areas in which to hold your reception. Please schedule a time to come see the property and pick out the venue that works best for you.
Conferences-Retreats-Reunions
We welcome all group events at Lily Creek Lodge. You can reserve the entire Lodge for your event and organize all of the activities and catering on site for convenience.
Venue Options
The Pool: Situated along side the pool and under a tent or in the open, your quests can enjoy your special occassion. This is our largest gathering area for a larger party. The pavilion is the perfect place to hold your reception and catering as it sits right next to the pool. (2-75 people)
The Gazebo: The perfect place for the small intimate wedding to make the most of your special day. Suggested reception locations to compliment the Gazebo Wedding include the tree house (for a party of two), the dining room, gathering room, or the deck.
(2-20 people)
The Gathering Room: Should you desire a wedding or other event indoors, we have a quaint indoor setting that provides a warm environment beside the romantic fireplace in the gathering room. A very intimate setting among a collection of antiques, a small wedding can be held in front of the beautiful hearth. A small reception could then be easily held in the dining room or out on the deck. (2-40 people). This area is also very comfortable for holding small informal meetings (2-12 people).
The Pavilion: Located along side the pool with a cascading waterfall, you have a large covered pavilion to accomodate your event and provide for your guests as they dance and eat with views of the forest all around. Spacious and airy this provides one of the largest areas for your event as your quests can spill out onto the pool area. This is a very relaxing and soothing area to work in groups on projects and have catering services.
The Treehouse: A unique romantic secluded space for a very intimate reception for two to four people. High up in the trees you can enjoy the view during your celebration
The Deck: A spacious area to hold an open air event for several people. Additionally, the use of the adjacent parking area or dining room can be used for extended use when needed
The Dining Room: A large space to hold your reception and catering. Your guests can spill out onto the adjoining deck or into the Gathering Room. The perfect mix for everyone
