    East Lake Bed & Breakfast is located on the east side of Lake Tarpon, FL, 2 miles from US 19 on a resident-only road in a quiet upscale residential area of zoned 2 acre homesites.

    Just two miles to quaint Tarpon Springs village with its numerous antique shops and restaurants, Sponge Docks, deep-sea fishing tour and casino cruises.

    The Inn is close to Gulf of Mexico beaches, tennis, golfing, Clearwater and St. Pete attractions, Busch Gardens, Tampa International Airport, St. Pete Airport, Sunken Gardens, Weeki Wachee. Two hours to Disney, Sea World, Cypress Gardens.

    Close to the beaches and for Northerners, it’s the weather. And we are extremely reasonable compared to prices around us.

    What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?

    Everyone remarks about the quietness of the place and how they are treated like family.

    If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?

    The Sponge Docks are worth seeing.

    What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?

    Being treated like family.

    What’s the best kept secret about the area?

    Don’t know if it’s a secret, but we have loads of things to do and lots of restaurants.

    If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?

    Sponge Docks, Busch Gardens beaches.

    Is there anything within walking distance of your inn?

    Just good for walking; very little traffic; residents only road.

    What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area?

    Olive Garden, Cody’s.

    Do you accept pets?

    No, because I have a dog. There are several pet “motels” close by.

    Eastlake Bed & Breakfast, a private home features one guest room with a queen sized bed and adjoining private full bath near the front entrance, away from family quarters. 24-hour access.

    The Inn has central heat and air conditioning, soft water. Guest room has wall-to-wall carpeting, ceiling fan, table and reading lamp, color TV, telephone, clock radio, closet and drawer space.

    A Continental Breakfast will be served either inside or on the glassed porch, your preference.

    Your hosts are 35-year residents of Florida, early-retired business people knowledgeable about the area. We provide beach gear, maps, directions, restaurant recommendations, etc.
