A drive of a few short blocks from the bustle of I-275 will take you back to a quieter place and time, reminiscent of the Florida of fifty years ago, yet with the all the comforts and conveniences of today.

A short stroll from La Veranda will take you to the waterfront parks that give the city its charm. St. Petersburg has maintained the entire downtown waterfront, some seven miles in all, for the use of residents and visitors alike. Parks, marinas, and "The Pier", combine with the commercial establishments to provide lots to do downtown.
Year 'round there are special events like "Taste of Pinellas" and "Ribfest" that bring good food and music, in abundance, to the downtown bayfront. Concerts, art shows, and even motor racing add to the excitement of this beautiful waterfront setting. All of this, just a few short blocks from your suite at La Veranda.

We are located in downtown St. Petersburg. Golf, tennis, boating, and fishing are all nearby. We can help you with arrangements or reservations. From the North:
- Take I-275 south to Exit 23-A. (BayWalk-The Pier).
- The end of the exit puts you right on 4th Avenue North.
- Go east five stoplights to 1st Street.
- Turn left for one block to 5th Avenue North.
- Turn left from the middle turn lane onto 5th Avenue.
- La Veranda's driveway will be immediately on your right.
- Turn in for off-street parking.
From the South:
Take I-275 north to Exit 23-A. (BayWalk-The Pier).
