    Why do most travelers stay at your inn?

    We have a great location, outstanding staff, and a unique high quality property.

    What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?

    Service and staff. Twenty five hotel rooms and suites decorated residentially,  many with semi-private balcony overlooking the Historic District.

    If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?

    Very unique destination.  We have been listed by numerous credible lists as a top 10 destination in the world.

    What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?

    "We are so impressed with the staff." This is the fundamental that we strive for daily and receive this compliment daily.

    What’s the best kept secret about the area?

    The restaurants and art.

    If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?

    There are many options. We would first have them do a city tour and then itemize a list of the attractions or activities which would meet their needs. There are over 100 options of things to do. It is important to understand the guest needs and direct them to the appropriate activities to ensure that they have an emotional return on their investment.

    Is there anything within walking distance of your inn?

    We are located in the heart of the historic district.  The walking only street, St George Street., has over 200 stores, attractions, galleries and restaurants.

    What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area?

    Collage, La Pentola, Raintree, Tasting Room and the Gourmet Hut.

    How many rooms does your inn have?

    Twenty five rooms and suites. We have six styles of rooms with multiple of each style.

    Do you accept pets?

    We accept dogs twenty-five pounds and under with a $50 per stay cleaning fee.

    The St. George Inn is conveniently located in the heart of the historic district of St. Augustine. Nestled in the City Gate Plaza on St. George Street, next to the Oldest Wooden School House and City Gate. The Inn is a perfect location for exploring the St. Augustine area.

    Directions

    From the South:

    • Travel Northbound on I-95
    • Take Exit 311 turning right onto State Road 207 toward St. Augustine for approximately 5.5 miles to US 1
    • Go left (North) on US 1 for about 1 mile to Orange Street (Texaco station on the corner)
    • Turn right onto Orange Street (through 3 stop signs) to a three story salmon colored building
    • Pull over to the curb and put your blinker on
    • We will help you unload your luggage, check you into your room, and direct you to parking

    From the North:

    • Travel Southbound on I-95. Take Exit 318 East (State Road 16)
    • Stay on S.R.16 for approximately 6.5 miles to US 1
    • Go right on US 1 for about 1.3 miles to Orange Street (after the 2nd traffic light there will be Prosperity Bank and then a Texaco station on the left)
    • Turn left onto Orange Street (through 3 stop signs) to a three story salmon colored building
    • Pull over to the curb and put you blinker on
    • We will help you unload your luggage, check you into your room, and direct you to parking

    Parking: $5 per day in the Old Drug Store's lot, located a short block from the Inn
