St. Francis Inn Bed and Breakfast of St. Augustine Florida

The Dummett Room is named for one of the Inn's most notable owners. The room offers guests a queen bed, an in-room refrigerator, and a whirlpool tub with shower. This charming room provides visitors a quiet and comfortable retreat, overlooking the Inn's lush courtyard gardens from the third floor.

Saffron Suite, in our Wilson House, is a spacious three-room suite located on the first floor. The suite has a queen-sized bed, and a full bath with a 2-person whirlpool tub and shower. There is a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the front sitting plus a working fireplace. A small refrigerator and microwave are also available in this suite.

The Balcony Room, located on the second floor, is one of the Inn's finest rooms. Perfect for a romantic getaway, this spacious room -- with floor to ceiling windows, a private balcony, a two-person whirlpool tub, a queen-sized four post bed, a fireplace*, and a refrigerator -- features the best we have to offer. The magnificent Balcony Room overlooks St. Francis Park and provides soothing respite from our guests' hectic schedules. *Our Symphony Electra Flame Fireplaces are safe clean electric fireplaces which provide cozy ambiance all year long.

Miss Emily's Room, located in our Wilson House, is a cheerful and romantic room located on the second floor. This room features a queen-sized brass bed, a full bath with a 2-person whirlpool tub and shower, and a private deck overlooking the natural setting behind the house. This room has access to a private shared kitchen.

Anna's Room offers a comfortable queen bed, fireplace*, and modern shower, as well as easy access to the second floor balcony where you may sit and enjoy a view of the garden and the peaceful sounds of the fountain. The Overlook Room invites you to visit one of the Inn's most unique and beautiful rooms. Located on the third floor, this room offers a queen-sized bed, a two person whirlpool, in-room refrigerator and microwave, beautiful windows, and lovely views to welcome you to a private retreat high above the parks and streets of St. Augustine.

Elizabeth's Suite features two spacious second floor rooms overlooking St. Francis Park. A kitchenette, fireplace*, a queen-size bed, a queen sleep sofa, and a whirlpool tub with shower complete the amenities to be found in this charming suite, which can accommodate up to four people. *Our Symphony Electra Flame Fireplaces are safe clean electric fireplaces which provide cozy ambiance all year long.

Lily's Room is a cozy sanctuary for our guests. Featuring a double bed, in-room refrigerator, stained glass window and a hammered tin ceiling, this room is a favorite of many of our guests. Located on the third floor and featuring floor to ceiling windows, Lily's Room offers guests a view of the courtyard and historic St. George Street.

Wilson Suite, in our Wilson House, is a charming two-room suite on the second floor with a king-sized bed, a full bath with a 2-person whirlpool tub and shower, a sitting room with a queen sleeper sofa, and access to the porch overlooking St. George Street. This room has access to a private shared kitchen.

Located on the second floor, the Ballerina Room is named because of its magnificent portrait of a young ballerina. A picture from the Inn's past, the portrait occupies a place of honor above the fireplace* in this lovely room furnished with a queen-sized bed. The Graham Room is unique for its individuality. Featuring stained glass and a hammered tin ceiling, this small enchanting third floor room features a private bath down the hall, plus a refrigerator and a microwave in the room. Guests enjoy this glimpse of the past and often prefer this affordable room.

Marie's Room is located on the first floor and provides a fireplace*, modern bathroom with shower, and a queen-sized bed. Step out of your room to the garden to enjoy a glass of tea in the Spanish-style courtyard. The Courtyard Room offers a private entrance off the courtyard into a cozy room with a comfortable double bed, fireplace*, and an old-style bathroom with a bear-claw footed bathtub, and, of course, a shower. Our Symphony Electra Flame Fireplaces are safe clean electric fireplaces which provide cozy ambiance all year long.

The Cottage is a two bedroom, two bath separate building overlooking the Inn's courtyard. It was formerly the Cookhouse/Slave Quarters for the main house. The first floor features an eat-in kitchen, a modern bathroom with a 2-person whirlpool tub, a living room with working fireplace, and a sleeper sofa. The two bedrooms (one with a queen bed and the second with two twin beds) and another full bath are on the second floor. It is ideal for families... tariff is for four people.

Due to our small size, we recommend reservations well in advance. In order to guarantee your reservation we will authorize your card for an amount equal to the first night's stay. This is not an actual charge to your card, but your bank will restrict this amount and you will not have access to it. If you cancel with less than 7 days' notice, we will use these funds to comply with our cancellation policy.

Cash, traveler's checks, personal checks, major credit cards and bank debit (ATM) cards are accepted.

Because we are a small lodging facility, we have a strict cancellation policy, which is very similar to most Bed and Breakfasts. It is our intent to be fair to our guests, but also to operate in a business like manner:

• If you cancel at least 7 days prior to your arrival date, there is a $50 cancellation fee which can be applied (for up to one year) to your next reservation.
• If you cancel less than 7 days prior to your arrival date (14 days for holidays and special events), we will provide you with a Gift Certificate (good for one year) for an amount equal to the first night's lodging tariff.

Our Pet Policy and Guidelines

The St Francis Inn accepts small well-mannered pets on a limited basis in certain rooms/suites by advance reservations only under the following conditions:

• When reservation is made, guest must disclose their pet will also be visiting.
• At check-in, guests with a pet will need to sign our "Guest Pet Responsibility" agreement which guarantees and authorizes credit card payment for any damage caused by their pet.
• We charge a nightly pet fee of $15.
  This fee covers the additional time and effort needed to clean the guest accommodation after a pet visit.
• A "small pet" is a cat or dog which is easily held/carried by the guest, a maximum of 45 lbs.
• Pets may not be allowed during certain holidays, weekends, or special event periods; please check ahead for availability.
• Pets must be under owner's control and should not disturb other guests (barking, non-friendly manner, etc.).
• Since pets are not allowed in our "common areas" such as the lobby, sitting room, dining room, only certain rooms with direct access are available to accommodate guests with small pets.
• Daily housekeeping may be interrupted if a pet is in the room alone and not crated.

Not to worry! Most of our rooms are kept "pet free"... Only a select few rooms are ever allowed to house pets. All our rooms are non-smoking.
