What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn? Our hospitality, good breakfast, and our unique location in the historic district of a great small beach town.
If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit? One of the top ten beaches in Florida, but still a small town feel with plenty of outdoor activities for everyone.
What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn? When people tell us that they cannot find a single thing to improve on.
What’s the best kept secret about the area? New Smyrna Beach.
If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area? Swim, surf, paddle board, any kind of fishing, cycling, kayaking, art walks, wine walks, exploring ruins, golfing, antique shopping, wildlife at State Parks and preserves, plus a one hour drive from the Daytona track, Disney attractions, Kennedy Space Center and a number of area springs for Manatee watching. Finally extend their stay.
Is there anything within walking distance of your inn? The Historic District contains 2 parks, a riverside walk, shopping area, art galleries and restaurants.
What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area? We can't single out a favorite, but the seafood restaurants here are great.

Our inn and our town share a long, colorful history and an appreciation of local art. New Smyrna Beach has unique qualities and attractions, as diverse as they are numerous. Our beach town is home to nationally renowned surfing while being rated among the top 50 of "The Best small Art Towns in America" by travel writer John Villani. Longboard Inn is located in the historic district, only a short distance to the beach. Our gecko stone path will lead you to one of our six guest rooms. Each room has a private whirlpool bath, queen size, hand crafted beds, one-of-a-kind hand painted furniture, and French doors that open onto a deck surrounded by a well landscaped private area.

Comforts always enhance a relaxing getaway and our rooms have cable TV with VCR, fridge, air conditioning, ironing board and iron, and a DSL jack for your laptop. The Longboard Inn is located between US 1 and the river on the direct route to the beach.
We are two miles from the beach ramp. Canal Street shopping is two blocks away and we arewalking distance to community events such as antique car shows, art festivals
and music in Old Fort and Riverside Park.
