Poinciana Patio
Our most often-requested accommodation, the Poinciana Patio is a relaxing and sunny poolview retreat with vaulted ceiling and French doors opening to the garden to "bring the outside in". The twin mirrors of a fabulous antique armoire romantically frame the reflection of the handsome wrought iron queen size bed dressed in carefree, tropical fiesta colors.
Banyantree Suite
The Banyantree Suite has a spectacular overview of the garden and pool from its spacious private deck, where at night the stars seem close enough to touch. Featuring a Plantation-style mahogany queen size bed and an adjoining room with day bed, the suite comfortably accommodates three guests. Casually elegant indoor-outdoor living, classic Key West style!
Coconut Cabana
The Coconut Cabana is adjacent the back porch of the Main House, which provides a convenient outdoor area for relaxation. A sumptuous seagrass queen size bed, fanciful fish providing a soft glow of light after sunset, and parrots perching in the rafters create your own secret island hideaway!
Mango Room
The Mango Room features an antique wicker armoire, a charming queen size wrought iron bed, and sunlight filtered through Plantation shutters, coaxing you to linger awhile. And why not? You're on island time now.
Gypsy Mermaid's Escape
It’s rumored that she was a Wild Child, the daughter of a musical icon whose name you know. Strong-willed and adventurous, she left home younger than most. Drifting from port to port, in search of herself, her soulful songwriting brought her unsought fame. But she’s always been shy of the spotlight.
Her traveling companions are an old, beat-up guitar that could tell some tales of its own, a floppy hat, and a pair of oversized sunglasses that allow her the privacy she craves. Whenever she’s in town, she insists on the room adjacent the upstairs veranda. Says she gathers artistic inspiration from the street scene passing by below … observing while remaining unobserved, you know.
Recently, she brought us some treasures from her travels, and chose a new color for the room. She calls it “dreamsicle”. You’ll recognize it immediately.
So we revamped things to suit her and named the delicious result in her honor: the Gypsy Mermaid’s Escape. There’s a bit of her quicksilver aura captured here … at once intriguing and exciting, yet tantalizingly elusive. Choose it for yourself and see what we mean.
Bamboo Room
Imagine a bedroom on a West Indies coconut plantation. The time? The Colonial era, when Old World powers were jockeying to expand their spheres of influence. Your haven of comfort is the Bamboo Room, a favorite choice for easing into the slow pace of island life. The Indonesian teak and cane poster bed, a strikingly beautiful antique dresser, and light modulated by Bahama shutters evoke a genteel ambience. So relax. Be transported. You can almost feel the breeze as it ruffles the palm trees
Key Lime Loft
There are those who insist that there is something magical about the Key Lime Loft. One happy couple with an amazing storybook romance that began right here in Key West even plan their visits around when it's available!
Under the sheltering fronds of a graceful coconut palm, this indoor-outdoor treetop suite is comprised of a cozy room with queen bed, opening through French doors to a romantic private deck designed for savoring balmy breezes and technicolor sunsets. Overlooking the pool and garden below in one direction and juxtapositioned rooftops of neighboring cottages in another, more than one guest has been inspiried to set up a tripod or easel.
When next you find yourself in Paradise, why not let the Key Lime Loft work its magic for you ... or make a bit of your own to add to the legend ...
The Tuckaway
Honeymoon, anniversary, or "just because" ...
This very, very private suite offers you the epitome of designer luxe, but without a hint of preteniousness. Distinctive island elegance -- refreshingly contradictory in its simultaneous simplicity and sophistication -- promises you an authentic Key West lifestyle experience. A spacious room with king size sleigh bed and handsome Indonesian furnishings accented with Asian antiques and original island artwork opens through French doors onto an intimate, reed-screened porch with luxurious BainUltra spa-for-two.
When it's got to be special ... it's got to be The Tuckaway. Because it's Tucked Away.
Gecko's Garden
A reeded ceiling vaults to frame the treetop view above a sumptuous, king size Empress Bamboo canopy bed, adorned with impossibly soft linens and draped in a cloud of gauzy netting. Soft music and sensuous lamplight set the mood as paddle fans languidly stir the fragrance of jasmine wafting on balmy evening breezes.
Share moonlit moments of blissful seclusion in the secret garden of your oh-so-private hideaway, as your lagoon spa reflects a million stars in the tropical sky overhead.
Luxuriously indulgent intimacy. Unparalleled ambience. The Gecko's Garden. How romantic can it get?
Pineapple Hideaway
The Italians, the most passionate and playful culture on Earth, have a term for it: "la dolce far niente". The sweetness of doing nothing. What a concept.
The Pineapple Hideaway's romantic ambience of castaway seclusion is the perfect setting for indulging in "la dolce far niente" in the carefree, barefoot comfort of your own cottage in Paradise. Entered off a quiet lane outside the garden gates, the Pineapple Hideaway is our most private accommodation … an island oasis so complete that guests who choose it are often not seen until they return the keys at check-out time!
So, come. Let the tradewinds blur the lines between outdoors and in, as time slips away, gratefully unnoticed. Hold the Real World at bay, enjoying light meals and cocktails prepared in your kitchenette from the comfort of your covered deck or the bubbling privacy of your garden hot tub.
At day's end, be transported to tropical dreams in the embrace of incredibly soft linens enveloping your exotic, woven palm leaf queen size bed ...
... and, well ... You fill in the rest ...
