  • A little bit about us...

The Grand Guest House, a classic Key West inn, exudes Key West charm by means of a bed and breakfast style in a totally un-touristy Old Town Key West neighborhood. If you prefer a good night's sleep over the noise of Duval Street, but you want to be within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, museums, art galleries, beaches, the Southernmost Point, and Hemingway's House you'll love our location. We're just five short blocks to Duval Street and five blocks to the beach.

Our tropical Grand Guesthouse rooms are comfortable, sparkling clean, and all have private bathrooms and entrances, queen size beds, A/C & ceiling fans, cable television, telephone service with free domestic long distance, iPod, iPhone, and CD players, a small refrigerator, and are non-smoking. Our Suites feature a queen bedroom which opens into a separate dining and seating area with a kitchenette. We also have free parking and high speed wireless internet.

Because we are a Key West Florida bed & breakfast, our rates include our expanded Continental breakfast, featuring bagels, English muffins, jams and jellies, cream cheese, coffee, teas, flavored creamers, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, a sweets tray, orange juice and a selection of cereals.

The Grand is a member of the Key West Innkeepers Association, the Key West Chamber of Commerce, and the Key West Business Guild. We are the proud recipient of Superior Small Lodging's "White Glove" award for exceptional attention to cleanliness, and Frommer's Travel Guide calls The Grand "undoubtedly the best bargain in town." (Frommer's South Florida 1999-2010) As an environmentally conscious establishment The Grand is also certified as a Green Lodging Property by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.

At the Grand, the ambiance is friendly and welcoming. Find out why people choose The Grand Guesthouse over all other Key West inns, bed & breakfasts and guesthouses! Call now to reserve your room in paradise.

Located in an area of Old Town Key West where cigar making was the primary source of income at the turn of the century, The Grand was a rooming house for the workers at the former cigar manufacturer at the end of the block. Built in the 1880s, the house was converted in the 1940s into the home of a single family. Occupied by the family until the 1960s, the structure was converted back to a rooming house in the ensuing years.

In 1998, the property was transformed from its formerly humble beginnings into The Grand Guesthouse. Today, each of our rooms feature private bathrooms and entrances, queen size beds, A/C & ceiling fans, cable television, telephone, iPod, iPhone, and CD players, a small refrigerator, and tropical décor. Lush tropical landscaping defines the outdoor areas, where deck chairs and a small table are found outside of every room.

Our specialty is our knowledge of everything local. We provide local maps and steer you to all Key West has to offer. From restaurants to snorkeling to shopping and special events, we've "been there and done that" so there are no surprises, just the best.
